Day 93:
The penultimate highlights show of Big Brother 10 pulled in 2.1m (13%) last night.
On Channel 4 1.9 million tuned in at 10pm, while a further 159,000 watched on C4+1.
Big Brother was Channel 4’s second most watched programme yesterday, behind Benefit Busters.
It was one of the least watched Thursday highlights show from the previous couple of months.
The average for Thursday highlights show this series has been 2.2m, so last night’s show was slightly down.
So far this week is averaging 2.1m (11%), up from the equivalent days last week

I was looking at this week's copy of Radio Times (to plan my BB Final viewing, naturally) and normally RT lists the BB Final as one of their 'Today's Choices' of the best programmes.
However in a note describing two new C4 documentaries (also on tonight) RT mentions....
"....yes Big Brother which mercifully ends tonight, largely unnoticed...."
seems to sum up the view from the outside, and could explain why the ratings are so low. This does suggest the current format needs revamping.

I think there are a large number of people who tolerate Big Brother and then there are the big fans.

With multiple channels to choose from even two million cannot be regarded as bad.........
Remember back in the days of BB2 there was no freewiew or freesat......Just five channels.....Hence the early days of the series high viewing figures....
I am not saying it has not gone down in popularity just that the so called unpopularity is being exagerated...

There was Sky, On Digital and NTL
I think it has been exaggerated, the papers keep quoting 8m watching BB3, and only 2m watching BB10 when the BB3 average was nowhere near 8m.

They've flogged it to death.
Does anyone, ANYONE, watch Friends reppeats any more?
C4 have really gone cheap and nasty.
