A thread to hate Sky TV in :dance:

If it wasnt for Sky, I would be able to watch Lost and 24...which are two shows I wanted to watch when they was on terrestrial

'24 ' was on the Bloated BBC
they refused to pay for it at a new rate
and 'Lost' it.


SKY HD has the most HD channels.

But the ITV/BBC venture of FreesatHD
gives you Free ITVHD , BBCHD and soon others.
That works from a SkyDish connection.
And Now 2 TV makers sell FreesatHD inside their LCD TV's.

I'm not a Sky customer but I think they do a good job
Its not there fault C4 chose Desperate Housewives over Lost, that the BBC couldn't justify paying so much for 24 or a more recent example Five dropped House so they could buy The Mentalist. Sky do a good job at treating TV shows well, particularly US shows, more than any other channel do in the UK. Sky deserve a lot more praise than it gets
