Isn't Dewsbury where the whole Shannon Matthews thing happened?! If so, judging by the news footage etc of the area... it does look quite rough and many places boarded up and stuff?

It's not places that are bad it's people!! I've been to Birmingham several times and think some of it is beautiful,some very impressive buildings there,but i guess it has it's bad places as everywhere else does.

Nah he probably wants to thank them, giving him a legitimate reason to claim on his insurance and getting him the sympathy vote to put him in 3rd place. May even have come second if they had shat in his bed.
