Perhaps he's suffering from becoming friendly with Sophie. Tim was seriously pissed off at being picked for the poor side... maybe the others he picked were too.

I hope Jonny stays in. He's shown his caring side by taking Sophie under his wing when everyone else is bullying her. Sophie clearly isn't happy in the house, so perhaps it would be better if she left.

Sophie was a foregone conclusion, but I'm surprised Jonny's been nominated again.

The poor chap must be despairing now as to what he's done wrong so as to be nominated. I think you're right, Disco that he's suffered because of befriending Sophie.

I'll be very interested to hear the reasons given by the housemates tonight for nominating him.

I just got a press release through.

Jonny got 4 votes
Sophie got 3 votes

I thought Sophie would have got more than 3 votes and I'm amazed that Jonny got more than she did.

I'd hazard a guess that Jade, Adele and Tim voted for Sophie following their extensive bitching sessions over the last few days; and that

Jade, Alex, Kate and PJ voted for Jonny (did someone not say that Kate and PJ had sussed out that Jonny nominated Spencer last week?)

Revealed: housemates' reasons for nominations

Jonny led this week's Big Brother nominations with four.

Adele, Alex, Jade and Tim all voted for him while Jade, PJ and Tim gave Sophie her three votes.

Adele has also had her first nomination after four rounds of voting - it came from PJ.

Tim, Alex and Jade all came close to being nominated with two votes each, while PJ and Kate had one each.

Big Brother has also revealed the reasons housemates gave for their nominations.

Adele nominated Jonny because she felt he was false. "He performs to the cameras 24 hours a day," she said.

Jade also thought Sophie was "very false."

PJ voted for Sophie because he said she was always butting into conversations.

The full votes were:

ADELE - Jonny and PJ

ALEX - Jonny and Kate

JADE - Sophie and Jonny

JONNY - Alex and Tim

KATE - Alex and Jade

PJ - Sophie and Adele

SOPHIE - Jade and Tim

Jonny and Sophie are up against each other on Friday. Anyone surprised by this, with whats been going on in the rich side.

Sophie may have been guessed, but as said above, Jonny ???

We have had a betting syndicate out there skewing the result, and Channel 4 insisting that nobody is leaking the running totals on the phone pole.

This posting occured before the news was officially released.

This certainly demands an investigation as to whether the Big Brother production has been compromised.

For this vote I would suggest we all abstain on mass and make it the lowest phone vote of all.

As much as I would like to prove the bullies wrong, I feel that Sophie will go this week as jonny probaby has a larger fan-base. Also I think that Jonny could stick up to the bullies more - especially with PJ as an ally

I'm sorry but I am on the opposite side of the fence regarding Jonny. To me he has turned out to be a damp sqib who worries about what others think of him and as a result he has moped most of the time.

As far as I am concerned he contributes little to the show and although Sophie is quiet she might as well stay.

I know I am probably in a minority but I will be voting for Jonny to go.:spin2:

I would have thought that Jonny might have got on the wrong side of people by having to choose the ones he wanted to live in poverty. Although, of those, only Tim nominated him.

Being able to choose who you want to live with you on the rich side is a poisoned chalice; having to choose who you want with you on the poor side is the worst of both worlds.

I think that Jonny and Sophie being nominated would just have been an educated guess. Still no evidence that betting syndicates are involved.

I'm not sure who I think should be evicted. Jonny annoyed me at the start but I like him a bit better now. He has become more subdued since Alison's eviction and his first nomination.
When he was talking about Spencer's eviction and his part in it, he looked genuinely preoccupied with it.

I am warming to Jonny more and more.
I really warmed to him at first cos he was a rea cheeky chapy and really funny - then I went off him cos his humour was getting a bit over the top but he has calmed down a lot now and he is one of my faves.
I think he is quite lonely in there and I hope the public keep him in because he will get him a bit more confident. I think he seems quite down lately, h emisses Alison!

I have nothing against Sophie, I just would prefer Jonny to stay in da house.:spin2::flower::spin2:

Maybe if they have the smallest eviction vote, the powers that be may get the message. (Or maybe they won't)

I will be abstaining, and I think I have worked out my digital TV so I do not vote one out by accident like I did when it was Lee v Jonny :blush:

That is the only thing that annoys me about Sophie always saying MATE! other than that quite nice but quiet really not been given much of a chance but i still hope Jonny wins :hugesmile:

I like Jonny too, Wildchild. He HAS been a bit down since losing Alison and then having to endure 2 weeks in the 'Poor' side of the house.

I really think, though, that if the public vote to keep him in this week, he WILL regain some of his confidence and, hopefully, we will see the return of the real Jonny.

Jonny is my personal favourite. closely followed by Kate. I find it a shame that Sophie has been nominated against Jonny because I have really warmed to Sophie in the last few days.

However much I would like Sophie to stay, I would not want to sacrifice Jonny. He and Kate are the two most genuine people in the house.

Jonny and Sophie are the victims of a campaign of bullying carried out by Adele, Alex, Jade (who I used to like but I am now right off her) and recent recruit Tim. Jade may have used the word "nomination" and got a strike, but the other three have been just as bad, they just have more words at their disposal.

PJ has shot up in my estimation. There is a lot I don't like about him, but it would have been easy to wallow in the rich side and go along with all the bullying, bitching, gossiping and character assassination in the rich bedroom. Last night, he did the right thing, good on yer Peej.

In conclusion, Jonny has to stay, hopefully he, PJ, and Kate will stick together more effectively and ensure that Adele, Alex, Jade and Tim don't get away with all the bullying.

Adele next week I hope!

I ALMOST agree with everything you've just said, Oldgit. Except in the case of Alex. You KNOW I'm an Alex fan and, as I've posted previously, Alex HAS tried to stick up for Sophie on a number of occasions when the 2 girls have been bitching about her.

It is not what we decide that swings the eviction vote, it is some behind the scenes, smoke filled room betting syndicate that is deciding. With the current bad mouthing of Sophie in and outside the house, Jonny would have very long odds to be evicted. So I suspect he will be the next target of a betting sting

Watch the tabloids, (like the Sun-online) to see whether this is happening.

Meanwhile we should show our contempt for the way BB3 has been messed up by

NOT VOTING THIS WEEK

If they recorded the lowest voting figures, will they get the message.

Sophie may be pretty, but if Jonny goes, PJ will still be voting with Adele and Jade to get rid of her next time, whereas I don't think PJ will vote against Jonny, so if you want to see the eviction focus move to Jade and Adele (and Tim) Jonny must stay. Sorry, Sophie!

Oldgit, I like where you are coming from! I agree with almost everything you have said...yes even your opinions about Alex...sorry Alex fans...but Kate is now my favourite since Spanky went. I know Sophie should stay just so she can put two fingers up at Jade and Adele and there pathetic bullish tactics, but I would prefer it if Jonny stayed too. He doesn't irritate me at all, even though he did a bit when he spent the whole of the last week he was nominated...fretting. I like him alot and find him to be kind, genuine and sensitive aswell as alot of fun when he is messing about. What on earth was Adele pratting on about in the Diary Room when she was giving her reasons for nominating Jonny about him performing for the cameras 24/7...and not being his true self. And the reasons she gave for PJ made me laugh too...I thought she was talking about herself...:laugh: it was laughable, and even if true he is not half as underhand as she is at playing the game, and I say this not even liking the guy. She said she doesn't want to live in the house with someone like this...well as Brian said to Bubble last year..."Look in the mirror?" Adele is such a hypocrite!

Sophie has had it rough, I hope the public will show some compassion for her, and not go over the top if they decide to boo her when she is evicted on Friday...however there is still the fact that she got cosy with somneone elses man even if it was a 50 / 50 situation, so I am not sure she will have as much sympathy as she might have had, had she kept Lee at arms length.

Kate's my favourite too. She's very funny and she's had a rough deal and she's still smiling. Slimey Tim needs to keep away from her though. Anybody see BBLB last night they showed ballroom task live, and Spence was looking really sad. Maybe because he wanted to be back in the house. Still can't believe he went out a week before Sophie.:hello:
