Has anyone ever watched another countires BB other than the USA's.

If so are they worth watching?

I`ve only watched 10 minute bits on you tube not as good as the UK one but not to bad have watched some from Australia, Africa and India. There are lots of others from all over the world but unless you speak the language it`s hard to follow.

Yes they do but it's in French. :thumbs: It's being produced in the French Canada.

Also I think that in GF8 there was someone so similar to Freddie, not personality wise but journey wise. His name was Fabio and he was also kind of "bullied" by other housemates and kept in 6 times by the public, but then unexpectedly went over someone else who was less popular than him at the time.

I would say that out of the ones I have watched 9USA, UK and Italian), I say that the Italian presenter from Series 6-Present is the best, Alessia. She is just funny, lovely, great personality and gorgeous. Davina comes 2nd and Julie comes 3rd, I dont like her presenting skills.

I never did, I don't and I never will and the thought of BB UK getting axed makes me sad but I think it had to be done at some point.

It's been yes and no with Davina. Her all time low was in BB7 were she was as weak as the BB7 housemates (pregnancy hormones maybe lol) and she was at her best in BB5 and 10. To me she is the best host overall. Then we get the French host, Benjamin Castaldi and also the Italian host in 3rd place, Alessia Marcuzzi and then Julie Chen.
The rest aren't made to host Big Brother.

All I've seen of BB hosts are UK, Australia and USA. All three used an older presenter, and when Australia used that young pair it didn't really work. Are the ones you say are made to present BB around the world older as well?

BBUS' Juilie is younger than Davina. By only 2 years mind. And BBAU's Gretel is approx. 122 years old and is only been kept alive (against the nations will) by experimental drugs.

I think most countries use a sexy blond female presenter, sometimes along with some wacky sidekick! Other countries use ex-HM, and Philippines have had a lot of hosts - including a puppet I think (?).

I agree, they seem to be a stereotype for BB hosts: females, blondes, hot so people can watch it with more interest but the better ones are obviously the ones with the most experience, the most professional and the less generic and this is why we have hosts who last 10 years.

Yes, I think Davina, Julie and maybe Spains host are the main 3 who have been with the series fron day 1. Although I think Spain's host stopped for a brief period.

(edit: yeh, Spain's host didn't host their thrid series. But she did host the other 10.)

UK One is better, the American one makes me sick that they call it "Big Brother" and yet when someone tells them their series is **** they say "dont say that were a completely diffrent show"

Well if they cant handle people from other countries calling their version ****ing pathetic then they should change the name.
