My dad gave me the "don't do drugs when you go to Uni" talk earlier; one of his mantras was "no disco biscuits", I actually burst out laughing. I go on Friday, I'm nervous! I'm going to be staying in a flat with 11 other people, I need to get a job but I could never handle working in a bar or restaurant; I like going to bed at a reasonable time and I don't deal with pressure... at all. I'm going to be so fail at this, ahahaha. Freshers week is meant to be fun, but as far as I can see there's just a lot of different things for me to bring paperwork to and sign up for in locations I'm not familiar with. Anyway, when I get my Internet up and running down there I'll come on here and keep you all up to date about how close I am to being on suicide watch!

I also regret not applying for uni this year!
Anyway good look in uni!
Haha cheers Ben! I'm sure I'll enjoy the social aspect of it, but there's so much to do, therefore there is so much for me to worry about. The prospect of doing all my own cooking, cleaning, washing, drying, ironing combined with studying, getting a job and having a social life (not too likely, really) is very scary to me!

you better get cracking learning all those things then lol
I'd love UNI life if it wasn't for the education side of it. The parties/weekends&weekdays clubbin = dream life for me.
Goodluck with getting settled in. I could never live with 11 other people, I have some minor OCD issues and I hate clutter unless it's my own because I know where to clean.
Although I've stayed at a mates UNI place before and jumped in bed with her and one of her flat mates cooked a chinese and it stunk the whole flat out, ahh!
Let us know how it goes and make sure you get Internet set up if that's gonna keep you sane!
I'd advise you to get part time work though, it's a great time to socialise.
