View Full Version : Sree is in a dark place!

Seriously, am I the only one really worried about the welfare of this bloke?
He has just not looked right since the moment he left the house.
And Davina brought up the issue and he was almost brought to tears on the BBBM Reunion show.
It's really distressing to watch.
And sad.
If anyone was going to have a breakdown after BB, my guess would've been Bea, but not Sree.
Guess those psychologists' exams preformed by BB to make sure that the possible HM's are mentally fit enough for the experience really made a mistake on this one eh?

I'm concerned for him too. I don't think he is well, but I'm sure he is getting the help he needs. I feel a bit bad knowing that the show I loved watching over the summer has caused him pain.

I had a soft spot for him while he was in the house and I continue to do so. Really hope he gets some help and surrounds himself with warm, positive people.

Have to agree! I was actually hoping Davina would not ask him any questions as I thought he might react like that - and did not want him to embarrass himself! It made for uncomfortable viewing!
I hope that, given time, he recovers enough confidence in himself to get on with his life and put his bb experience behind him!

That's why they gave him the 'Best HM award' and they all cheered and clapped him. He has been suffering from depression imo, and may be on some form of medication.
It's a *****in TV show FFS. These are the times when I feel guilty being part of the whole thing, although I suppose the HMs do put themselves up for it.
His basic problem and people will assume this is meant in a rascist way is Culture Shock i believe.
In India they have a class system, sree's family are up the ladder with servants etc.
So he arrived here, saw ladies he liked and dressed in an eye opening way to what he is used to.
Now back in India, he would probably click his fingers and they would come running no questions asked, no back chat, here they don't.
Include in that he is probably not used to being ridiculed either, and he can't handle it

I don't know. I think he is just depressed as J-Rock mentioned. Haven't you ever been depressed?
You know when happiness seems distant and when friends become like lifeguards to a drowning person.
Also I'm glad he got to go on the show. Why shouldn't people who feel that way get excluded from parts of society.

Well I hope he took it at face value, because I thought it was patronising - no way was he the best HM of BB10, Davina knows it, we know it and Sree knows it. But hey, it's a crap make believe award so if it makes him happy it's all good.
I'm not going to pretend I like Sree 'cos I don't, but nobody wants to see someone so crushed and broken as he appears to be. How much of that is due to him being on the show I don't know, perhaps he was always mentally fragile - I just hope that he is getting some proper help and NOT from those mickey mouse psychologists they employ at BB.

I think he is crushed that he has to return to India. Apparently whilst he was in the house he had talks with lawyers regarding deportation. They gave him a 3 month stay, so he is probably due to go back very soon.

I too felt sorry for him. I hope the Big Brother organization and their team of psychologists are helping him. It will be bad for everyone, the franchise included, if he hurts himself "beyond repair"

It's not good. Super Sree was an epic force of wack-attack in BB10 and he does indeed look to be on some sort of antidepressants like the Prozac or those types. As if he is a bit numb and stunned and behind a glass.
I don't like it at all.
Vicky.

The people who carry out psychological assessments on the HMs before they enter to check that they can handle it, should be sacked.
Sree should never have been allowed in there if he is fragile enough to slit his wrists over it.
In my opinion anyway.
And I liked the guy, but his mental health comes before entertainment.

I didnt really like him in the house, but it was sad to watch,
Also with Davina saying something like he has had bad times after leaving when he has been sad...does he need to be reminded?
He did look like he was going to cry :(

Sree was his own worst enemy, he is unable to understand what he does wrong. He is so used to living the good life and treating women how he see's fit when he meets a strong woman he is bound to crumble. He has the mentality of a 15 year old, I don't think this is the right country for him, especially now he has been seen by the nation.

I think his deportation issues are at the root of his problems right now. BB doesn't make people crazy but it can certainly mess with your head if you're not stable in the first place.
He could just be playing the sympathy card hoping it will help his case to stay here. Just a thought...

Strongly agree. The people doing these assessments are working to identify people with problems... ...who DO get entered into the house!
It was clear to everyone that Sree had some serious issues with social acceptance and of course that was part of what made him ultra-hilarious and a BB legend,
but,
This can be where it all goes horribly wrong and we get someone who can't handle the scene after its all said and done.
I still say they have him loaded on Prozac and imo that might be the very worst scenario. It may even be better to let him have a breakdown and rebuild than to keep him a suppressed and desperate zombie frozen in time.
Anyways,
Back to agreeing with Vicky for once - I don't care how much I love or hate any HM because there is absolutely no reason for anyone to ever put some entertainment over someones mental health.
Especially when they come across someone who doesn't have the wisdom and maturity to understand what risk they are taking or what the consequences might be.
Sree may very well fit that category and the assessors need to take a look at themselves over this.

While he was in the house he was set upon regularly by Siavash, Cairon and Marcus - relentlessly.
This is either forgotten, ignored or denied by a majority and even Big Brother.
What I find utterly surprising is how the above 3 are spending an extensive amount of time with people behind the scenes at Big Brother - and when Sree asked Big Brother to do something about it he mentioned in no uncertain terms about the above and their relationship with the production staff and how they behaved with the producers before the show...
so is it any surprise he is in this state after being treated like this... in the case of objectivity and reality that is...

If you fancied a girl but was being abused by people in the house.
In no uncertain terms, Sree said Siavash, Marcus and Cairon are telling Noiron not to spend time with him. They mocked not only Sree but also Noirin for talking to him.
All three have been spending a great deal of time with the production staff who work as runners or otherwise behind the scenes. These are the people who report back to the producers of the show as well. These are the same people that Sree said Marcus had a relationship with and has been spending time with before and after the show.
Then when Sree leaves the house, he sees Marcus spending time with Noirin (who mocked him, insulted him and shouted at him) and then he sees the other guy who mocked him - Siavash spending time with Noirin as well.
All of this highlights how his treatment in the house as well as by people behind the scenes was completely below par.
If I was him - I'd sue.

He looked pretty out of it, like he's on some form of medication.
Also I noticed his English was more fractured than it was even in the house, I'm quite worried for him.
I didn't like him much in the house but now he's out it's obvious he wasn't in any fit state to be in that situation and I wouldn't be surprised to hear something something drastic has to happen to him, sadly.

I didnt realise I had missed the BBBM reunion, but would say they would have needed to re-check their pyschology team if they were going to continue BB which they wont be after next year, Nicky bless her soul has done well money wise since being on BB from having problems and admitted that she had pulled the wool over their eyes regarding her mental health, Sree on the other hand is more likely been used to a very priveleged up bringing and used to getting his own way plus he seems a very sensitive soul who generally do suffer with depression, I am sure they have looked after him in the background after the x-factor incident, there has been alot more people worse off from being on BB like Charlie who had her whole life turned up side down by hate, and that other girl cant remember her name who gets beat up at times on nights out with friends because of their behaviour, they are all aware of the risks of appearing on something like BB before they enter the house, most either go on BB either to be excepted or to make money either way the people who go on there after the first 3 shows are well aware of what they are letting themselves in for
I think it's fair to say some people's lives were just wrecked this year lol

It might be wiser not to allow people in the house if they are currently appealing with the UK Border Agency over extensions of Visas etc. Not only do they have the pressures of the BB house on their minds, they also may just be a little worried if Immigration Officials will be waiting on them when they do get evicted.
Sree may have been mentally fit enough to enter the house, he may have passed all the tests better than most of the other housemates, he may have been the most unlikely candidate to have any sort of emotional problems or breakdown.
The visa application being turned for him may have been a crushing blow and probably was totally unforeseen by himself or the BB team, because we dont have any real facts about his case we shouldnt throw dirt at the psychological evaluations nor the team performing them.
