"Big Brother" now makes it east-west variation

Officially confirmed, the concept is not - but we have information that say that the makers are planning in this direction.

On Thursday afternoon, the Munich-based private channel RTL II has confirmed that they would broadcast in 2010, the tenth season of the reality show "Big Brother". On the concept was still under development, details on the contents of the season we want to announce, as always, only a few days before the start. A logo of the channel, however, been published. In the tenth round, it is neither blue nor red, but black-red-gold.

Quotenmeter.de has researched and learned that the tenth edition will be one that can be seen only in the Federal Republic of Germany. It deals with the reunion and the eternal subject of East and West - the anniversary of German unity in the coming year at least to the 20th Time a few months ago, we reported the fact that this approach is high in the favor of the makers.

Endemol denied this time - even at RTL II wanted to know nothing of such plans. To what extent is the concept new, is not entirely clear: it is again two areas in the "Big Brother"-type house. An eastern and a western area. This is similar to the Vorgängertstaffeln in which either the fields of heaven and hell, or simply gave rich and poor. The western section will therefore be the more desirable, in the east, participants are not quite as good. Even if the origin of the housemates will play a role.

Finally decided is the exact approach, however, not yet - to date, it does show information that we receive, there is only a basic concept that is being worked on but still eager. Is totally open yet, however an exact launch date. It is expected that this law will be soon after the New Year. A possible variant would also be the tenth season on third October - in 2010 would be a Sunday.

© RTL II: Die mother of all reality formats on 11 returns Back in January 2010. RTL II launched the tenth season of "Big Brother" and surprised with two innovations that were not suspected so far. Firstly there is the new host: Miriam Pielhau follows in the new season Aleksandra Bechtel. The 37-year-old is a proven 'Big Brother' expert: It has already hosted the seasons 2, 3 and 4 season the reality show.

Unlike today, is the tenth season of "Big Brother" every day, even on Sunday to be seen. What it will go into the new season, the channel will not tell you yet. Officially, it said only: "The anniversary season of the reality lies the success of surprises, entertainment and energy." After DWDL.de information but one is stuck in spite of the logos of the season not in it: An East-West duel, as initially suspected. Promoted the new season with the slogan "Everyone has a secret."

At the start date, Friday the 11th January, there will be a public viewing in Cologne on "Big Brother". Former candidate for all seasons shown so far will be on site. More than nine and a half years, the reality show first started in Germany. Since then the format against vociferous criticism, including from RTL II as members of the Tele München Group, a major pillar of development program and is in the positive and negative senses so formative for RTL II than any other item from the sender.

There are a total of six men and six women who are living together in two different houses. Both groups do not know that there is another Big Brother House. They believe their new TV home is the only Big Brother House.

Some facts about The House:

• 167.5 square meters, Secret House
• 278.25 square meters, Big Brother House
• 143 square meter garden in the Big Brother House with 13.5 square meter penal area
• 79 cameras in both houses
• 37 microphones in both houses
• 32 miles of cable channels

Here is the key info on the twelve new housemates:

Harald is a 42 year old from Berlin who is married to fellow housemate Carlos. "I want to show my roommates and Germany the right way of dealing with HIV."

Carlos is a 45 year old professional singer from Argentina. "Big Brother gives me the opportunity to confront viewers with the theme of HIV and to provide information about it. The housemates can learn from me to get better with HIV positive people clearly."

Pluto is a 29 year old homeless street artist from Cologne. "If I win Big Brother, I'll buy myself a bar and a piece of land for a dog rescue centre."

Iris is a 42 year old restaurateur. "I want to prove to all women my age that anything can be achieved. It's never too late. I have more pepper in the bobber."

Big Brother 10 has begun and the twelve housemates have recovered after yesterday's great live show. There are six housemates in the "Secret House" and another six in the "Big Brother" House. Living in the Big Brother House are gay couple Carlos and Harald, tattoo artist Horst, homeless Pluto, Casanova Micaela and model Daniel.

Carols and Harald wanted to talk to their housemates about their secret."We are both HIV positive. I have been for over 20 years and Harald for seven years," said Carlos who was visibly nervous at the dining table. "We wanted to talk with you directly about this as it is very important in The House. You may like to ask us questions, because not everyone knows how to deal with HIV" added Carlos. Everyone seemed to take the news with interest and understanding; they discussed the subject of HIV long into the night. Harald was relieved: "I was afraid of your reaction; now everything is good."

But a few hours later tattooist Horst announced that he wanted to move out. "I will leave the house, this is no joke." Horst wanted to be able to clear his head in The House and wasn't ready for the seriousness start. "I did not want to deal with serious issues here; this has nothing to do with you. I could sit here with two cancer patients that would be the same." The housemates were flabbergasted but Horst was determined to leave after less than 24 hours in the Big Brother House.

Horst couldn't handle the serious subject of HIV in The House and asked to leave. Big Brother accepted his request and Horst left the Big Brother House. He has been replaced by by 29 year old Tobias from Aschaffenburg. Tobias joins Carlos, Harald, Daniel, Pluto, and Micaela in The House. Tobias has been isolated from the outside world and knows nothing of the recent events surrounding Big Brother.

BB Ger: The Secret House is unmasked

Micaela, Harald, Carlos, Daniel, Pluto, and Tobias were shocked when they learnt about the Secret House. Big Brother revealed this season's mystery by showing the Secret House on a TV monitor. A few minutes passed before the first sighting of the other housemates, such as Uwe who lives with five women Iris, Eva, Cora, Pisei and Kristina. Daniel was disturbed to see so much rubbish in the Secret House "have you seen it? Everything is full of garbage, even the bedroom."

Micaela didn't seem too worried "the main thing is we stay together as a team." Later that evening Harald, Carlos and Micaela shared a bubble bath and expressed their concerns.
