Just had to make this thread in support of him, now only a few members come on, it appears some of the remaining are still trying to make the decent guy the baddie (in the worst HM thread of each year, people said he played the victim card - not true, he was bullied and he delt with it very well, and that he forced good HMs out - not true is is the best HM this year and we, the public evict who we want out).

Also like he said, he was not being arognat, he thought Marcus would go becuz he wanted to stay and Marcus wanted out, but it doesnt work like that. Which, I will admit, without his explantion after he was evicted, at the time did look abit arogant. But yet people bang on that he was.

People who are saying such stupid things, must be in support of the bullish nasty HMs, and despise any good geniune HMs, and this is why im considering not bothering with the forums next year. How can you worship Marcus, and say he does no wrong, when he does, I like Marcus, think he is cracking, but he has been in the wrong, but members on here are being ridiculous about him. But yet are talking rubbish on Freddie?

Oh I understand why ILoveMoney said Freddie was the worst HM, he is a Noirin fan, so he likes the nasty, selfish HMs. :nono:

Both highlights of the series though, when you look back on it. :thumbs:

Don't get me wrong, Freddie was my second favourite this series, and my favourite to begin with. But Marcus soon overtook him by a long way.

First off, BBJordan - stop worrying - there were only two posts I could see that had Freddie as worst HM - of course, they have a right to their opinion. The problem is that most FMs have gone now, so it is difficult to gage any 'generic' opinions or polls.

Captain Remy - you are entitled to your opinion and are indeed articulate in your theses. However, I do think you have been winding up poor Jordan a little. You ought to know better :nono: :)

Now for my view:

Freddie was the most consistently supported HM throughout the whole of BB10 and afterwards. The polls indeed show this aswell. He topped the TiBB poll, and was second to Marcus in the DS poll (over 3,000 votes in all, not a bad sample size).

He was evicted after a period where he became cocky and was under Bea's spell (partly her fault and partly his own responsibility - much of this was a reaction to the fact he had been isolated for a long time and finally found some support - a little 'rebound power' went to his head). He was also up against Marcus' fans and the fans of rival HMs-FTW. He was a threat. This played a part, but I do think he also got himself evicted because he did act like a tw@ at times during that short period that led up to the eviction.

However, in terms of all post eviction shows, the amount of warmth and support shown to him has been the most I have seen for any HM. Only Marcus comes close. Indeed, Freddie's support seemed to go up after his eviction in terms of the way he handled himself and accepted his faults (when interviewed etc.). It is only really Marcus and Freddie who have the 'fan-base' - i.e. forum support, facebook, messages on youtube etc...Not everyone likes them, but we all know they provided the most entertainment and storylines in the house.

After all the dust has settled, it will only be Marcus and Freddie (perhaps a touch of Noirin and Bea) remembered for BB10.

The worst HM: Hira (lovely girl, but very little contribution to anything in terms of storylines, entertainment)
The best HM: Freddie (but only just ahead of Marcus!) :wink:

Freddie and Marcus were nominated by housemates not by public. Unfortunately one of them had to go that week.
Freddie never doubted Marcus wanted to leave. He was naive to believe him.

He is not very good at reading poeple's mind unlike Marcus or may be Siavash. But he is very pure, sincere and warm hearted. I love Freddie. I believe polls are quite acurate.

And how did I not think of Freddie being a threat to all the fans who want other HMs to win, thats a very very good reason why he may have been evicted, much better than my list, but I do believe my reasons would have occured in some situations.

Yeah Freddie did lose his rails toward the end, but I will not allow anybody to tell me he used the victim card, he clearly didnt.

And I agree, Freddie, Marcus, Noirin and Bea will be the best remembered this year, Freddie & Marcus for the good reasons, Noirin & Bea for bad. :laugh:
