BB1 - Mel - the olden days Noirin
BB2 - Brian - Every single storyline of that year revolved around him
BB3 - Alison - Just simply hilarious
BB4 - Ray - Maybe top for that year but isn't even in the top 20 for every year
BB5 - Lip Gloss Bitches - Can't choose one because they all made those first 5 weeks unforgettable
BB6 - Craig - Probably had the sharpest tongue of any BB housemate and the whole Anthony thing was the last 3 weeks of the show
BB7 - Shahbaz - Only in there for 4 days but every single second of the 4 days was about him
BB8 - Charley - She was the perfect villain, although she may be argumentative it was in a fun way unlike Alex in BB9
BB9 - Bex - Any girl that will have a food fight topless is a winner for me
BB10 - Noirin - Amazing Housemate. 95% of all the highlight shows in her last week were all about her even the haters were calling it the Noirin Show

Yeah the Noirin show was boring not entertaining. :joker:
Mine are for BB10: Freddie, Marcus, Angel, Sophie, Sree.
Hira, Siavash and Roddy had their moments.
I liked Sophia vs Saffia in week 1 too.

BB3 - Jade - a bit cliche but she really was a great housemate.
BB4 - NO ONE
BB5- Nadia - a deserving winner and quite fun to watch.
BB6- Kemal - was the best character and that damn cat and his plans! haha!
BB7- Nikki - Best Housemate in the world ever. No contest.
BB8- Charley - for sheer entertainment
BB9- Lisa - Genuine, nice and MAD!
BB10- None of them - all mediocre none stood out.

BB6: Makosi & Craig - most of the storylines revolved around them that year. Would've said Science and Maxwell too but they weren't as big as Makosi and Craig.
BB7: Probably Nikki and Aisleyne
BB8: Charley & Chanelle
BB9: Rex, Bex, Luke
BB10: Marcus, Freddie, Noirin, Siavash, (hate to say it) Bea - then on a lower level Charlie and Rodrigo

I agree with your sentiments if they were the most dramatic but drama isn't always entertaining and in some cases is boring, dull and tedious.
I would go for all round housemates with all round entertainment.
BB1 - Craig, quality moments and entertainment too. Mel was more drama
BB2 - Brian - all round quality. Helen close second.
BB3 - Alex, funny moments, drama, made fun of himself. Everything.
BB4 - Jon Tickle - All round classic, legendary housemate.
BB5 - Victor. Basically made the show and is the defining housemate for all Big Brothers.
BB6 - Science - just missed out and could have won the whole thing. Science had his own group, was alone and fought off the majority. Quality.
BB7 - Aisleyne, Pete, Glyn, Richard - too many too mention.
BB8 - Brian - Although a bit a of muppet outside (sometimes) he gave us everything in BB8. Liam wasn't so bad, but a bit too quiet at times.
BB9 - Rex, Mo, Rachel, Darnell, Lisa, Sara - quality year. Numerous great housemates.
BB10 - Sree and Angel, left too early. They provided jokes and drama too. Rodrigo would probably be the one who gave us everything, Sophie close next. No drama but she gave the jokes too. I can't include housemates who relied upon Sree, Noirin and Lisa to gain notoriety and popularity in the outside world, (Siavash, Marcus, Freddie - they would have been out very quickly if it wasn't for Sree, Noirin and Lisa).

If you think about it, you can not find any of the entertaining as they all rely on other HMs to be entertaining if you go by what you say. Imagine a house with jsut 1 HM, wouldnt work would it?
And yes you can count Marcus, Siavash and Freddie, when they rebel they wernt relying on other HMs apart from theirselves, and that was entertaining.

Found it dull and boring because it was predictable. No wit, no tact, no charm - just running around throwing things or swearing at people. It just had not substance to it at all because all three lack a personality. The star of those rebellions were the reactions from the other housemates and Big Brother that gave them the house to rebel.
Seriously - it was boring. I think Bea summed it all up. Rebels without a cause... point being, why? There was nothing to rebel against because they would gain absolutely nothing. Tedious, juvenile and very very sad that people have to behave like that to gain attention. Sad childhoods.

If you say so, I think rebellions & rule breaks make the show more interesting, if everybody was good and played by rules, would in a way, bring down its entertaining factor. Apart from Siavash and his constant not nominating, that was teadous.
And Bea is a cry baby without the tears.
Edit to add: But yeah, alot of entertainment is caused by people interacting, but I will agree with one thing you said, Angel was entertaining on her own, the rest, like normal, made humour by interacting. Rodrigo no, he relied on Charlie or Sophie, Sree humour came about with his obsession of Noirin.

You know what's predictable? Your posts. A little credit where it's due from time to time wouldn't go a miss. Marcus, Freddie and Siavash were among the best housemates this year, whether you like them or not.
Although I dislike Sree, Bea and Noirin, I have no problem admitting they were good housemates.
That juvenile rebellion took up most of the episode, why you should ask. Maybe because the rest of the 'entertainers' like Lisa, who you give credit to, gave nothing worth watching stuck at the bus stop.

Sree. Sad that he left so early because he was always worth watching. And I agree with Massive Truck in regard to the Three Muppets and their revolt against Big Brother which was tedious and in my personal opinion motivated by their own realisation that they were popular outside, and that by acting like prats they would hopefully be up for eviction along with some of the other group.

Sree acted like a prat 24/7, he was still worth watching.

Very very very very very well said!
Freddie, Marcus & Siavash were great housemates,
and so were Noirin, Bea and Sree, but not for good reasons,
but you need good and bad characters in the BB house.
Its funny how most Freddie, Marcus & Siavash fans can admit the other 3 were good HMs, but same cant be said for Sree, Noirin & Bea fans. Maybe they are jelous their favourites arnt as popular or whatever so wont admit it, silly really when its only a TV show, but I tell ya I get into it too much lol.

But like Massive said, that revolt involved no trace of wit or charm and was really a glimpse into the arrogance of the three involved. Hey, I like Freddie and Marcus usually but they were morons during that whole escapade, which was gameplaying of the highest degree. Sree was annoying but never abused the rules and came up with some classic lines, even if he was playing up to the cameras somewhat. A legend in my eyes.

It doesn't have to be witty or charming to be entertaining in my eyes. Sree had neither, most of his 'classic lines' are that because his English is piss poor not because he is witty. Most people laughed at Sree, not with him.

Far from a legend, but a good housemate.
I would say the only legends this year are Freddie & Marcus.

Oh, I don't think you give him enough credit there with regard to his wit. My sneaky suspicion is that he was fully aware of how funny it all sounded - that's what added to his appeal. You'll have to read back over his quotes because they're really soo funny.
The revolt wasn't entertaining in anyway for me because I realised the motivation behind it all and it wasn't pretty. It also can be viewed as the beginning of the end for poor Freddie in the house. Yep, they acted liked morons on so many levels during that spell in Big Brother.

I read the Sree quote thread the other day on here and I honestly couldn't stop laughing. I do think the large majority were unintentional though because of his bad English.

Lisa - wtf
Rodrigo - decent lad, funny tantrums, but not as entertaining as other HMs in there
I need to repeat, Lisa - wtf!

I found it hard to pick one from BB6 as there was no housemates that I liked that year, for BB8 I chose Ziggy just for his "its not you its me" comment but there was quite a few interesting housemates to choose from. For BB10 I picked Freddie because although I found Marcus very entertaining and liked him a lot I loved Freddie just a bit more.
