On a serious note, it doesn't really matter if it's edited or not because we can find parades like ******** or **** so it doesn't bother me anymore.

The language filter is there for a reason. If too much bad language is allowed this will cause Net Nannies to block this site. We have been having this discussion amongst moderators on the forum I am a moderator on, except it is more of an issue for that site, because being a science and astronomy site we want it available to schools.

I find it strange how the swear words Sod and Bugger are both acceptable, yet are both about anal sex
(sodomise and buggery just in case)
Think about that when you next call someone a little bugger,

I don't see the point in the filter either, people find ways around it easily enough, we should be allowed to say cráp without having to hold ctrl + alt.
