Not really - this one would be more dumb

Biological Quantum Field Theory: Quantum and statistical methods have had great success modeling virus evolution. Can such techniques be used to model more complex systems such as bacteria? Can these techniques be used to control pathogen evolution?

Have you read the Tom Wolfe book 'The electric kool-aid acid test?'

Strangely by my forum name I have a similar interest to that of yourself (though I prefer the 60's than todays)

Tom Wolfe's book is about time he spent with Ken Kesey (writer of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest) and one of the key factors in the explosion of LSD in San Francisco (he took part in some drug tests loved them and ended up getting a job as a night porter at the hospital so he could nick them). A great little insight into the life and rise of LSD in the 60's.

Wolfe is a good journalistic writer (better than he is at creative writing).

I would recommend the book (as its a good book anyway).

My interest lie within the beat generation to hippy generation in the states. But all within the drug and counter culture movement.
