Well, McDonalds is popular but French people still love traditional food a LOT so we don't go there that much. KFC is better anyway. It's in the French culture to cook well at every meal.

And the farmer is actually a politician who is anti-GMO's.

McDonalds is great but only on small doses like once a month, this is the average time for French people. We don't have the same meals as the Americans because we don't have the same culture.
Like I said, traditional food is still prior to anything else, even in sandwiches you'll find French products.

And it's been a massive controversy when Jose Bové and his friends destroyed that McDonalds, this is what made him seen in the public eye.
