had to get an emergency doctor in today and have been officially diagnosed with it. im in SO much pain. lets hope i live....

that sucks and i hope you get better soon doug

but on the plus side once you get over it you ll be fine for when its at its worst and most dangerous in the winter cause you ll be immune to it

I don't know if I have it, I thought it was just my voice gone, but now i have blurred vision aswell.....thinks i'll be making a call to d-doc.

Hope you get better soon though....

I already had it but I think it's coming back. My two brothers and my sis have it too.

I think you should Iceman, some people have low immune systems and could be affected by it worse

Think I will leave it until morning, going to have an early night and see what i'm like then...

Don't worry i had it it wears of 3 days without virals usually for me it went after 5 days but even if you feel better KEEP taking the tablets until the 10 Tami Flu tabs are finished! and try drink lots of water and don't take acidly stuff or any orange juice try ginger ale. try eating very little and drink tons of water. I started feeling much better when i drank water and try take your tablet with food so you don't vomit don't worry if you did on the first day its normal, also you will probably sleep for shorts hours as well remember WATER! sorry for using caps just stressing the importance! take care:thumbs: hope you get better.

Still feeling like death today but im cosy on the sofa bed downstairs watching This Morning and doing loads of online shopping as i got **** loads of money for starting uni :hugesmile:

Looked in the mirror this morning and thought i looked thinner so i weighed myself and since friday ive lost 6 pounds

No but seriously, don't worry at all. More people have been badly affected by regular flu, and on the plus side - once this is over... you barely have to worry about getting it again cos your body will be better protected agaist it and have superstrong antibodies against it. You're just getting it out of the way now haha.

Hope you feel better soon though, it doesn't last too long so in a few days you'll be better. In the meantime, you have us lovely TiBBers to keep you company... (yeah thats gun' make you feel better!! haha).

Get well soon Doug, just try and sweat it out and drink loads of fluids (...which you've probably been told about a hundred times already) I had flu about 2 months back, but it wasn't swine.

I am dreading getting swine flu as I have asthma and when I get regular flu it's always 10x worse because of I am asthmatic... I work in a supermarket aswell which is meh.

I hate uni. Three of my flatmates went home for the weekend because they had the flu, and somebody in the flat below has swine flu and had to go home. I have a cough and I keep sweating randomly, I think I have SWIIIIINE too combined with freshers flu... fffffs.

A lot of peole I know have had it/have it...its everywhere round here at the minute, but most people say its just like regular flu, I think its the media that have drummed it up to everyone being terrified of it to be honest. Just sweat it out. You'l be fine in a couple of days x

It's horrible isn't it :( When I had it I felt like I was going to die.. I could not move anything and my ears were ringing..
