Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to record their new album from October onwards. The group have been on a hiatus since releasing Stadium Arcadium. According to Chad Smith the band hope to release their new album in 2010.

i love the chili peppers, been a fan for years, but that last album was so disappointing, im glad they went away for a bit...bloody stadium arcadium or whatever it was called...

The old stuff was amazing though!

I love the Red hot chilli peppers. They were amazing when I saw them at leeds fest 2007. Therefore if they are due a new albulm out in 2010 they could be playing at Leeds festival again :D

I reckon its possible they'll be doing festivals in 2011, depends when the album comes out really....

when I saw them they were amazing, Can't Stop was briliant...

I have never seen a band put so little in to a performance as they did at Reading. It was Peppers by numbers. They wern't remotely interested in putting on a show. Just collecting a big fat pay cheque at the end of it. From that day forth they could go **** themselves.

I like one or two of their songs but I'm not a huge fan. I'll be interested to hear new material though.

Great news! Their last album 'Stadium Arcadium' is one of the best rock albums I've ever heard.
