I think it's because they were born in Ireland, or have Irish parents, or have lived in Ireland for a majority of their life. (Wait... have I misunderstood? :hugesmile:).

Dont generalise, I dont pronounce Ireland that way....and im from North Dublin.

But back to the OP, I think its just more people taking an interest in The Lisbon treaty, I mean its probably one of the biggest referendums we'll vote on..

It just appears for a show that is televised to the whole of UK and Ireland, there are more people from Ireland here... but I may be mistaken. Maybe I just notice Irish members more.
