Anyone had any problems with this i am worried my new kitten wont get on with my cat

My mum just bought 3 new kittens and my old cat loves them he looks after them sometimes have little fights but only play ones i think yhey will be fine if you introduce tehm straight away!

I would leave them to it - they will suss each other out soon enough and decide where the other sits in the pecking order

How old is ur cat?.. I had 3.. at 6 month intervals.. We had initial probs.. but nothin major.. usually settles down after a week or two.

my cat is 1yr 3 months and the kitten is only six weeks

we introduced a kitten when ours was about 8 months... it will be fine.. give them time.

well the kitten seems to want to get to know him but my cat stares and keeps away from him they havent actually fought apart from hissing?

you could try and play with your kitten and then your cat might get jelous and then don't play with your cat until it learns to get along with your new kitten, hope it helps!
