after tonights show i really, really, really miss science and when i met him today he is a really nice guy if u people would have spoke to him on a level u wud have never voted him out. the show tonight was just uninteresting to me.
all it was craig and ant had a minor arguement and made up. kemal had a stupid little secret mission which wasnt interesting or funny and orla moaning about how much she wants to go. sorry but tonight was just dry. i dont know if i will bother watch tomorrow cos tonight was such a let down.

Tonight really was boring. Eugene's laugh is horrible, surely he's putting it on?

Which countries eat cats (the endless innuendo possibilities are killing me right now) then? And do they taste like chicken?

Fine, I apologize for anything that may be interpreted as a personal insult, but why is it any of your business what is in MY avatar?
And I find it amusing that you are not vegetarian, but feel upset when people eat a certain type of animal, which in my eyes makes you a hypocrite.

And I find it amusing that you are not vegetarian, but feel upset when people eat a certain type of animal, which in my eyes makes you a hypocrite. My feelings are very real are genuine, they happened, I felt them. The fact I am not a vegetarian does not make me hypocritical, it is not the done thing here in the UK to eat cat. [Just as the missionaries who found islands inhabited by cannibals were horrified because it was/is not their practice, I am horrified at this.] Here in the UK cats are family members, as are mine.
My comment on your avatar was not a criticism, I like your avatar, its cute, but it was motivated [as I’m sure you realise] due to the fact that it surprises me, that you, as a cat fan, find my distress amusing, as I said above.
Fangz

I wouldn't say I was a fan, as that is a shortened version of 'fanatic', and I don't know why it distresses you so much anyway. My sister thinks horses are rather beautiful, but when she went to France she didn't kick off when she saw a shop selling bits of dead horse.
Makosi ate cat in a country where that's the done thing, she doesn't go around kicking kittens on a regular basis. As long as she doesn't eat Lucifer (my cat), I couldn't care less what she puts in her big mouth.

Cats are also a delicacy in Korea and some other parts of Asia. I don't look any differently on Makosi for eating one while in a foreign country if it's on the menu.
As for tonight's show, personally I enjoyed it. Kemal, who I like, has a chance to save himself from eviction by completing the secret missions in the spy task. He came out with some good lines tonight notably in the diary room to BB's code words. He's a good ad-liber and very bright is Kemal.
Derek was in ultra-bitch mode tonight  Even I was shocked. I'm beginning to see what his critics mean. He was a little bit unfair with some of his criticisms and a bit snobby, especially when he mimicked Anthony's Geordie accent to make him look stupid. Not nice Del boy :nono:
Craig got all upset because Anthony said he looked like Myra Hindley. The irony is the public probably wouldnt have thought twice about it had he not made such an issue of it. Now they know he'll be upset about being called Myra when he leaves the house they'll probably call him it just to wind him up! :joker:
Eugene was quite amusing when he was speaking in morse code. I also liked his choice of disguise looking incredibly jewish.

How?
I don't think there's much comedic value to be had in reference to someone that a large percentage of the population consider to be the most evil woman that ever lived.

I think Myra would be insulted if she knew her looks were being compared to Craig's. Also, people are only saying Craig *looks* like Myra, noone's actually saying he's a child-killer.

More specifically Anthony was comparing Craig and his wig to Myra Hindley's famous mugshot after she was arrested (which Myra privately hated).

You're not the only one. I loved Eugene on last nights show, dit dit diiit di diiit dit!! Morse code isn't easy and I was impressed by him.
What annoyed me last night from both the main show and the BBLB show is how obvious it is that BB want Kemal to stay. They had his parents on BBLB, showing clips of all his funny and touching moments, showing what a personal journey he has come through on BB this year. This is the kind of soppy rubbish that the public love (Nadai won last year largely because she claimed she only went on BB to gain acceptance from people,).
Then we get the main show, BB already know that Kemal and Orlaith are up for eviction but the housemates don't know yet. And then in startign the spy task BB asks for a housemate to come to the diary room, and surprise surprise it was Kemal. Why was it Kemal, cos it was fixed. Craig, Eugene and Derek were all in the pool and hardly able to make it to the DR in time. Makosi was talking to Orlaith and eating cereal so she's unlikely to get up and go. Orlaith never goes to the diary room in case she's evicted, and Ant was no where to be seen. But Kemal was closest to the door, not involved in a conversation and it was higly likely that he was the one who would answer BB's call.
Now we get a week of Kemal being "funny" in the diary room, doing his secret task and getting seen lots by the public. Well played BB, you get to keep in one of your faves Kemal. They also allow Kemal to find out for definite that Makosi isn't and never has been a mole (which had consumed him for ages and really lowered his popularity).
After all that, I'm pretty sure that Orlaith will go on friday after a week of Kemal engineered by BB. I don't really care who goes, but I'm tired of BB grooming their faves to win it, as they did with Nadia last year. Kemal would be a great winner for them, he's foreign, he's gay, and he's undergone this personal journey in the house and it would be another "PC" victory for him to win.
Pisses me off cos I want Derek to win, but IMO BB would never let someone like him win.
CharlotteSometimes
28-07-2005, 09:29 AM
Do you really think Orlaith has, or had, even the slightest chance of beating Kemal this week?
I always thought it was Sicktor & Jason that were 'groomed' last year.
Fangz
28-07-2005, 09:34 AM
I'd say she has a slight chance, because some Madkosi haters have started this whole 'let's vote Kemal out to tick off Makosi' thing, which I think is a really stupid reason to vote out anyone.
Slartibartfast
28-07-2005, 09:35 AM
A lot of the online polls have it as a very close race, and not many would have said she could have beaten science last week. I just think BB is making sure that Orlaith doesn't continue her run of the "luck of the irish" and is ensuring Kemal's success.
And Nadia was so groomed last year, but hey there were countless arguments over Nadia vs Vic/Jason last year that either opinion was well justified. I just didn't like Nadia, and her crap abotu only wanting to be accepted and her constant gurning about getting some smokes.

I suppose you can never be certain about anything with BB. Science's last week in the house certainly wasn't shown in a very good light in the 10 pm slot at all.

Yeah, i did to. As much as I like Makosi at times, she really annoys me as well. Why does BB having a spy task automatically lead her to the conclusion that BB doesn't like her. And her comment in the bedroom that BB can't contend with her cos she found out a secret task is laughable!
Still, she's preferable to some of the non-entities that are currently in the house!! She just needs to realise that the sun does not shine out of her bottom.
