I don't like them either.
But it is a love story, it's just not soppy at all.
It just these too people are madly attracted to each other and he has the inner conflict of being a vampire.
And there is fighting in it too.

Its a good flick I thought.
I was quite surprised actually.

and Robert Pattinson really grows on you during the flick.
And then there's abviously lovely mr. Taylor Lautan to stare at too!

I've seen it about five times. It is a romance almost like Romeo and Juliette.

It is from the point of view of Bella (short for Isabella).

She moves a new town to live with her dad. She is a wonderful main character full of angst and uncertainty. Bella begins to like one of the boys in this mysterious adopted family who go to her new school.

I think you'd enjoy it Ross, I won't spoil it. So although it's a love story, it's beautifully told.

Blood sucking and fighting are at a minimum. And vampires aren't as goth as usual, but they are very cool.
