Now Science is out and Orlaith likely to be following him out of the door double D now seem's to be turning his attentions to Anthony, the same old tactic of constast bitching and oh he's ghastly a total character assassination is now underway and his followers seem be listening to his ranting and the inevitable will happen, next week Anthony will be up for eviction. Will they ever see through the man with the plan?

I noticed that last night - he was mocking the way Ant talked and going on about how dull he was etc. He has never had a really bad word to say about him before - he is a sneaky sneaky one that Derek

He upped the bitching levels about him at tea time in front of his captive audience.

I've just said that in another post! He's going to bring him down slowly. Anthony is already starting to get fed up I heard him say today.
Derek is so jealous of him. He has been from the start. I think he's afraid Anthony will win.
EUGENE CALLED ANTHONY DULL TODAY!!! as most people would have seen on bblb

Eugene has a cheek to call anyone dull, everyone is a party animal compared to Eugene, he seem's to be listening to Derek too much.

I don't think that Derek is jealous of Anthony but he certainly sees him as a threat just the same as he did with Science, he does it to people that have one fault and continues to pick at that fault. What get's me is the fact that Derek seem's to take himself so seriously, he thinks that the public do as he say's and that they have his full backing. He is always banging on about people not being tested when up for eviction or Science only survived one head to head but he is forgetting he is only survived one head to head aswell.

He is self obsessed!

The first thing I noticed him saying last night was something like; 'How has Anthony managed to avoid nomination for all these weeks?' I still amazed BB didn't call him to the diary room straight away, and give him a reward for being the thousandth hm to blatantly discuss nominations and yet escape unpunished.

He has been fairly consistent in describing Anthony as dull - and he does have quite a strong case there. The difference with Derek's plotting and scheming is that he's so bad at it. A good schemer suggests subtly rather than browbeating the point home, but Derek has failed miserably on that score. As soon as he'd finished talking to Orlaith, she went straight to Anthony & Craig and told them what he'd said. And when he was going on about thinking Anthony was gay, again he was exposed, although this time by Makosi and Science. When he used the politicians' tactic of answering Anthony's question with one of his own ('Would it really be such a bad thing if you were?') he exposed himself as a liar to the other hm's, too.

And he never got on with Anthony from the start, really. They calmed things down a bit after Maxwell left, but prior to that they as good as ignored each other. So it's not really a new tactic on Derek's part. Anthony is the only working class hm left in the house, so of course that won't go down very well with Derek.

its his gameplan. He suddenly finds a perfectly acceptable housemate 'ghastly' and keeeps on their case until he has brainwashed the others into believing it.
look at the nominated people each week and see if del hasnt had something to do with it.
Ghastly.

I don't think Derek's bitching is part of any gameplan. I think he's a naturally bitchy person in real life, and as June Sarpong said on BBLB, he's doing it more regularly because he's living with people half his age and there's no escape from them.

Derek even said to Eugene in the garden he was surprised he wasn't up for eviction because he doesn't believe he's very popular in the house.

To yours and also other members about the notion that Derek has a gameplay to win the show. I think he's being himself and just a naturally bitchy person. Its not put on to stir things up between the housemates as some people have suggested

Picking on the favorite will only backfire on derek. Id like to see him and Makosi up next week so the real two sly people can battle things out.

Of course he's trying to stir things up! His career has been centered in politics, where one-upmanship is the way to get ahead. Having a gameplan and stamping on the fingers of others to get what he wants is as basic a need as food and water to Derek.

You have to admire Derek, he knows how to manipulate people with ease.

It does seem that Derek has now choosen Ant as his new target, although I really wished he had picked Craig. Derek may have a problem now because so far he's been able to dispatch his targets without any real difficulties but Ant has a lot of public support and in going up against him, Derek may not find it so easy this time to get rid of him. Ant is pretty popular in the house as well, getting 3 "saves" last week and unless his drunken antics last night have lost him some popularity, Derek will struggle to get the housemates to turn against him.

But if anyone could do it, it would be the Dark Deceiver.
