Anyone else think it's stupid of ITV to take budget cuts on IAC?
It's one of their biggest shows, after soaps and XF. It pulls in millions every night, but they seem to think the cast doesn't matter. Just as long Ant & Dec are there, and they have the same ole trials - bollocks.

I think they are trying to phase it out, as Reality TV is going that way
But the cast doesn't matter. Celebrity Big Brother 4 was full of complete nobodies (they even thought a non celeb was more famous than some of them!!) and that is imo the best series of Big Brother ever. Its the production that counts.

I think CBB4 had some of the most famous celebs?! Michael Barrymore was a huge very controversial name, as was Pete Burns and George Galloway. Jodie Marsh was pretty big, and still is in the UK.
I think the cast, and the names that they get, does count. For example, the latest series of Hell's Kitchen. It had no big names, and because of that - people were not that interested in tuning in.

Michael Barrymore was the only big name, only older people knew who Pete Burns and George were, Jodie probably only known to younger viewers. And people were interested in the latest series of Hells Kitchen, the ratings were up on the previous series which had more well known people and a bit of controversy as well. And Celebrity Big Brother 6, possibly the most famous line up in a show of its kind (most people knew at least 7 or 8 of 11) yet that completely bombed
