Hmm - I live in Cargo pants and vests they are soo comfy and I always buy the latest style of them of course. I have a lot of clothes - everything from 1 coveted pair of Jimmy Choo sandals to £5 flip flops I like what I like no matter whether they are cheap or expensive.

If you see something designer that you like, you can usually find something very similar for a fraction of the price.

I know what you are saying Fangz but I am a terrible impulse buyer and have to buy the thing I want when I see it! I love nice clothes and I dont think that nice clothes = expensive

I agree! No way could I afford designer gear after forking out for the kids but to be honest I've always found designer gear rather superficial anyway, I know that's not a very popular attitude in this day and age but that's how I feel.

Thankfully, no! I was born in 73, so I missed the 70s fashion disasters!

As to my fashion sense (or lack of it).. i'm basically a scruffy beggar. I'm not exactly a girly girl, and fashion doesn't come into it. If I like it, I wear it, as long as it doesn't look like sh!t.

BTW Tans, I misunderstood ur first comment about thongs, and ended up with a rather un-pretty vision in my head of you wearin a hot pink one..oh dear!.. :nono:

I cant believe what a horrible mental picture you lot gave me while I was eating me breccie - Tanser is a thong - glad you cleared that one up further down the thread.

I still have to say though I am a clothes hag and will buy whatever catches my eye wether it be expensive designer or cheap and cheerful.
