I don't know about anyone else, but I found the 1st show pretty boring.
None of the acts surprised me except for maybe Joe.
All the other acts were SO mediocre compared to last years buch I thought.
I cant help but feel that this years series would be much better if other people had been chosen to go into the final 12 last week.

And I also feel as though Dannii's comments to Danyl about his sexual oriantation were totally below the belt and uncalled for and somebody should've said something to her about it like "Wtf has that got to do with anythig?"
What a total bitch.

All in all, I'm really dissapointed.

Good show but as I said in another thread X Factor peaked last year in terms of quality. Already we can rule half of the acts out whereas last year there were still about 8 contenders after the first live show. There were also more diverse and current acts last year, most of this years lot are irrelevant or cruise ship singers

Still hit below the belt with her comment.

The paper could have been talking crap for all she knew.

He was upset, and it showed.

Would she say the same thing to say George Michael or Elton john? Two gay male singers who sing about women etc.

I'd also expect a bit more understanding from someone who was put through the exact same story a few years ago

But she said that according to reports in the paper the he "didn't need to change the gender reference in the song"
I never siad she was slagging him off. But this comment was just totally off topic, really insensitive and just an lame excuse for her to get one over on him and to make him uncomfortable. I mean, why did she even say it in the 1st place. It didn't even matter like.

DId you even understand the comment?

I thought she was trying to say that she shouldn't hide who he is? I'm pretty sure she wasn't being nasty since she had a similar experience but I think it just came out wrong.

I think thats a very naive view, to be honest.

She was trying to make him feel uncomfortable, and it worked. Shes scared he will beat lucie to the crown. As Im pretty sure she knows hes one of the main threats to one of her girls winning.

I dunno, He's far from a threat. The best he can hope for is second place at best, he divides audiences too much to win plus the hype will kill off his chances. It'll be the boys that'll damage her chances of winning since the young acts always win (apart from the first one but they've won ever since).

If any of the boys deserves to win (from Cheryl's group) its Rikki.

Nah, I was reffering to Joe. He's a big threat to Dannii. Rikki doesn't stand a chance nor deserve to win

Nah, I like Rikki, but Joe is miles better than him. I dont think Rikki even stands a chance of winning to be honest.

Good point, I would be biased to say it was what with Mr. Williams on it:joker:

JOE, Rikki, Stacey, Danyl <3

I was kind of like 'um wtf' at Dannii's comment to Danyl, tbh it was a bit unneccersary.
