I don't think people will realise how totally, mind-bogglingly amazing she is and how different and unique she truly is until she dies unfortunatly.
And I hate that Youtube have had to cut off the adio from most of her videos, because she definitely has the best videos out there.

not really. I'd say someone whose songs are played every few minutes on Radio 1, TMF or The Box isn't alternative.

Also I think she is alternative. Utterly post-modern and the first person to merge so many facets in terms of image, voice, music and expression together from numerous angles, some or most of which are alternative into a mainstream format.

Of course, lost on some but that's the aim. To changing people's views on music.
