suspected swine flu

went to doctors today because my throat is all swollen, being sick, coughing my guts up and sneezing myself into oblivion, hot and cold flushes...

he said i did the right thing as i have an underlying illness (asthma and the rare illness thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura) but he said not to worry as i've only been ill for 2 days, he said give it a few more days and if i'm not well or if i get worse to go back as soon as possible. he said i have "suspected swine flu" but he won't be sure unless i show more symptons of swine flu...

i hope i don't it's quite scary now though :S i usually get ill around this time because of change in the season and being asthmatic i get every flu going -.-

I had suspected swine flu, got tamiflu...now im fine, you were right to go but in retrospect dont worry too much.... :)

I got all paranoid the other day but I only have a blocked nose,sneezing and a slight sore throat which according to my brother is just a plain old cold,lol.

It can be, its a bit hit and miss really. Most likely will be fine.
Although I hope you are not leaving the house as of now, if you have suspected swine flu.
