This isn't about "free speech". Currently in most countries you are free to say what you like ...provided you don't incite a race war in the process. Eg I am free to say what I like but when what I say potentially steps on other people's rights then that's when "freedom of speech" can't be used as an excuse. I can't defame a person's character, I can't threaten a person, I can't rally a group of people to commit violence. etc etc."Freedom of speech" has limits... and in Wilders case he nor anyone can incite violence ....whether it's based on religious hate, race or anything else.

It would help a bit tho if some senior Muslims in the UK had a bit more of a voice against extremism instead of sitting on their hands all the time.

They do but you dont see that side of the story cos papers like the Daily hate mail dont want to report it, The muslim council get a sentence at the end of a hate filled biased rant to say they condemn extremism, when the full replies are much longer, theyre forever speaking out against them but thats not the kind of story they want to portray is it?...oh and when they do you get "oh well they would say that blah blah blah"

... but those last point aren't relevant. Yeah I'm far away and yeah aboriginals have had a raw deal. Does that mean Wilders ought to be able to use freedom of speech laws to incite racial hate?....mate you missed the point. You said "This is all about Free Speech". My point was it's not. You called the protestors "extreme Muslims".... they are not.

Right wingers try to hide their racist arguments behind the freedom of speech debate because it portrays them as the the victim. This is a win win situation for them. They argue anyone who doesn't engage them in debate must be trying to silence them. On the other hand if they are engaged in debate then they get some air time and some underserved credibility for their racist views. It's a tried and tested strategy used by Wilders, Le Pen and more recently your good friend who leads the BNP. They also try to give their racist views the air of dignity that a "freeom of speech" argument has. Arista do you think it's a coincidents that Wilders named his political party the "Dutch Freedom Party". Most see through it :P

To top it off your lumping all muslims together and labelling them "crazy" and "extreme". For me "extremist" refers to suicide bombers etc...... not protesters who voice their rejection of racism. With your use of the word "extreme" your trying to relate those that are against racism with terrorist extremist in attempt to undermine the credibility of those protesting. They are not extreme and finding racism horrible is not an extremist view. Moderate Muslims and the majority of right minded Brits share the same anti rascist view. Yep some protesters got heated and a small few spouted some stupidity but if they really wanted to kill him they wouldn't have shout their plans at 20 cameras?

By focusing on what a very small minority of the protesors said you seem to be trying to help Wilders play the victim while ignoring all the violence and hate he tries to incite. That kind of hypocrisy only a racist could justify. Your line "This is all about Free Speech" is balls. nom nom.
