What do you think of it, too much? Too little? Thats 3 so far this year that Sky News have practically aired in full and I find it a bit in bad taste, especially when 2 of them have been pretty much complete nobodies and theres people doing much more dying every day who only get a minimal mention the news, if any at all.

well thats life. If you are a celebrity and WELL known for something then your death will be portrayed in the media. Some will display their 3 hour funeral or all day funeral or whatever on sky news if you are lucky. The majority of us are in the same boat. Once we all die we will either have NO mention or a little mention but nevermind.

i find them all in bad taste yeah fans wanna pay respects but by turning it into a bit of a media circus is hardly respectful

its the media's fault. Unless before the person died they said they wanted a big display running on the roads... or some of the celebrity's family may have wanted a media circus funeral so then they can get money out of it. Okay thats a bit cynical but you cant blame the person who is already dead.

I mean Michael Jackson and Jade Goody are exceptions. There are plenty of pop/rock singers who have a funeral behind closed doors. However Michael Jackson was a world wide legend. Jade Goody literally LIVED in the public eye ever since big brother...

is stephen gatleys funeral live today on tv? or?

i'm not saying blame the person who has died but the media should have a bit more respect there is a huge difference between a little bit of coverage but when they basically show the whole thing is going far too far

the media will do ANYTHING to make money for themselves.. they are allowed to probs film the whole event if on public roads but once they are where the funeral is at, they can't come in unless they are already asked to come in?

I never watch them. I find them utterly tasteless.

You have to question why we even want to watch this. I have utterly no interest in watching the funeral of someone I personally did not know. I am not being disrespectful, it's awful that someone has died. I just don't care enough to tune in!

I have Full Sky.

But on FreesatHD (connected via HDMI)
I have ITV1 HD and BBC HD
no charge - Free.
And you connect it Real Easy
to your SkyDish.
Or you can just fit it was a Normal Dish (for any without Sky).

But you said Freeview is better
and you are so Wrong.
