She isn't that well known but I think I recognise the old her off a car advert, but shocking what happened to her and looks awful now but was v good looking. Some spiteful people around, shes got a show on Channel 4. Its a good read if you've got a spare few minutes

I've just realised, the top part of her face that looks like its an extra bit I think is actually where the plastic mask ends. So her face isn't actually as bad as it looks. The other woman mentioned in the article looks pretty good now (Pam Warren), so hopefully Katie will look good in a few years time

What a horrible story, Let's hope they serve a lot longer then the minimum sentence. She seems like a very strong character though, let's hope she continues to rebuild her life.

She sold her story to NOTW as well, this one has more pictures (one very graphic one). But you can tell its a mask in this one, her face looks quite good where her forehead is so hopefully she'll just look botoxed or something when it comes off like the train woman. I hope she goes to the papers when the mask is off though, I'm really curious to see how it turns out

That doctor is a genius. He's performed miracles on her face because I didn't expect it to have improved so much.

She has made amazing recovery, she was on Sky News a few days ago, and she looked fine. She is extremely brave, I know I'd be dying inside.
What a brilliant documentary it was though, a real eye-opener, even though it was incredibly sad.
