View Full Version : Danyl Am I the only one who thinks Danyl isn't a good singer?
His performances sound awful to me, but everyone's going on about how good he is?

No everyones not going on about how good he is, alot of people have changed their minds after his group performance last week..
Hes not as good as Jamie,Olly and Lucie.
Which is why he wont win

I love danyl.
Olly on the other hand, is a big hype about nothing.
I was willing to give him a chance, but yesterday he was bad.
Stacey also. She was OK yesterday, but people are making out she is brilliant, when she is average.

I agree with you about Stacey.... very average stuff from her for two weeks in a row now. Danyl doesn't have the likeability to win the thing and he does grate on me a little. Joe's delivered both weeks even though he might be a little too dull to win the thing.

I love Danyls voice, not sure about him as a person, but I dont think he is cocky, like a lot of people do.
Lucie I love, and Jamie. Jamie really shocked me last night with that Christina Aguilera song, I thought he would kill it. He was fantastic

Danyl's cockiness and theatrics might lose him votes but he's a performer, there's no doubt about that.
Joe is a natural when it comes to holding a tune and you can see it comes very easy to him. Shapes a song to his voice and has an ear for melody. My only worry is that he's not memorable enough really.
Lucie wasn't good last night. It wasn't terrible but was very meh.

No, he isn't really. He has an awful tone to his voice (you could see during I Gotta Feeling and last nights performance) which often just runs throughout, then he'll scream the big note at the end which is only why his performances remain memorable.

Joe is an excellent singer but needs to stand out more, that's all. But in terms of singing, he's been the best so far for me.
Danni needs to be shot with the song selections she's given all the girls. F£cked up with alot of her choices... up there with Cheryl now. Simon gets it right more often than not. That's the difference.

I think his singing seems somewhat forced and strained at times like he is trying too hard. He should hold back a little. I do find him slightly conceited too. He just comes across that way to me.
He has a good voice but he peaked in his audition so people are expecting too much. I like the tone of Olly's voice, Jamie has a good voice too.
I don't think Joe is that good, he has an awful tone to his voice and is boring, I find him the most overrated. Lucie isn't that good either, she has a nice voice but not an amazing one or one to hold a career for that long.

They're choices have honestly baffled me so much. To give Rachael a huge song like that after failing last week was just bewildering..... give her something a little less strenuous to ease her back into the thing and regain some confidence. And giving Lucie a Leona Lewis song last weekend was pure stupidity.

I think she has huge potential but Danni's doing a number on her here. Think they might want her out lol.

He is certainly not note perfect at all, every key in his performance this week was flat besides the big note. Which to be fair, isn't that hard... I could do that note!
I didn't like him in his audition and I don't like him now, he is awful, and arrogant. If he gets kicked out soon... I will not be upset.

He's usually flat and struggles to keep in key.
But what annoys me most is that he doesn't actually sing.
He shouts.
He's just utter crap IMO, and I don't see how anyone can think that he's amazing.
