SUGABABES beauty AMELLE BERRABAH is being treated for severe depression - sparking fears it could signal the end of the band.
The singer, 25, cracked this week after trying to cope with yet another line-up change.

She will now spend at least three weeks in a clinic, believed to be in Turkey.

The band's first show with Amelle, new girl JADE EWEN, 21, and HEIDI RANGE, 26, in Leeds tomorrow night has been cancelled.

A friend said Amelle was considering her future.

The pal added: "She may decide the best thing for her health is to quit. Sugababes hasn't been making her happy for a long time."

The band's management said: "Amelle has been forced to take an unexpected short break away from the pressures of work following medical advice


"She will be able to rest and recuperate under expert supervision. We're expecting her to return by the beginning of November." Jade replaced KEISHA BUCHANAN.


Sugababes started in 1998 with Keisha, MUTYA BUENA and SIOBHAM DONAGHY.

I think it is time for them to split, but I hope Amelle gets better soon, and I hope she tries a solo career out. I think she could make it!

Its a tough situation, because if she doesn't make it in the industry again, she can't just get a normal job like someone else.

You can't just say that,depression isn't an easy illness.

I know its not any easy illness,i was just saying nothing major has happened to her shes probably feeling abit run down like we all do from time to time.
