Orlaith is going 10am tomorrow - she just told Makosi

But well putting the knife into Derek before she does

Great news... not fair on Kemal though because he ACTUALLY wanted to stay.

Red Moon
29-07-2005, 10:20 PM
Because of Derek makes her she feels inadequate..... she has talked to big Brother and it's all organized

Linny
29-07-2005, 10:21 PM
I knew it was getting her down but Derek has done a good job on destroying her self esteem.....What a horrid little weazle he is..... well good luck to her if she walks

Red Moon
29-07-2005, 10:22 PM
She looked like she was going to start crying when she didn't get evicted.... she didn't see happy. I don't think this time she is going to backdown.

Linny
29-07-2005, 10:24 PM
She was telling Anthony and Craig at 2/3 am this morning that if she didnt get evicted she was going no matter what. Isnt it sad that some people can be so mean that they totally demoralise your self worth and before anyone jumps on me i know its just a game show but it seems darker and more sinister this year.

Weirdchild
29-07-2005, 10:25 PM
Presuming she does walk its not 'fair' on Science or Kemal and a kick in the teeth to all the people that have spent money keeping her in for whatever reasons.

And for the record I don't think I particularily want any of them to win. It is a questiopn of who I least don't want ( makes sense in my head :D)

:elephant:

29-07-2005, 10:29 PM
In my opinion, she shouldn't have gone in for Big Brother if she wasn't prepared to put up with the crap. There have been 5 BBs so far. It's not as if she went into it without knowing what it's like.

I personally think it's a kick in the teeth for anyone who auditioned to get in and didn't get through. She gets a place and just gives it up.

Mike
29-07-2005, 10:30 PM
Makosi now reckons shes leaving with Orlaith LOL.

lily.
29-07-2005, 10:31 PM
Yeahhhhhhhh RIGHT!!!!

Red Moon
29-07-2005, 10:31 PM
Big Brother has asked to talk to Anthony and Craig.... she doesn't want to talk to them. But, she not going to be pressured into staying.... she is going this time.

Derek has really done the nasty on her...... Kemal is going to love it on big brothers little brother.

Linny
29-07-2005, 10:31 PM
Orlaigh has nothing to gain from this, but Makosi has despite what she is saying. She wont walk because she is a strong woman and hasnt come this far to let any other weazle housemate stomp on her.

Sven
29-07-2005, 10:33 PM
What a waste, when we could have had Kinga in there instead.

Red Moon
29-07-2005, 10:34 PM
I don't think it will do Derek any favors in the public vote.... but it might do some good for Makosi.

lily.
29-07-2005, 10:34 PM
YIKES! Kinga was scary! lol

Red Moon
29-07-2005, 10:36 PM
Opp's..... she is now going on about all Derek's rule breaking and how Big Brother has been told about it.

Linny
29-07-2005, 10:36 PM
I hope so Red, even though Makosi isnt my most favourite I would hate to see the the women back down to a snivelling weazle like Derek..... Makosi wouldnt give him the satisfaction of that, Smug horrid little man he is.

Mike
29-07-2005, 10:37 PM
Orlaith is actually very clever, say she doesn't walk she would have already won Makosi over to keep her in next week and she knows Anthony and Craig wont vote for her.

Red Moon
29-07-2005, 10:37 PM
Orlaith is so right.... he is an "evil man".

She is Mike......

And now Orlaith wants answers from Big Brother why Derek is allowed to break the rules and get way with it again and again?

It's all coming out now!

James
29-07-2005, 10:43 PM
Evil? :puzzled:

It's a game. She's just repeating stuff she has been told, of Derek's rule-breaking earlier in the show.

Red Moon
29-07-2005, 10:44 PM
It was what Orlaith said James..... but you are right it is a game but the housemates have taken it so seriously this year.

AndyJK
29-07-2005, 10:48 PM
10 am now it is? Oh, she obviously needs an extra hour in the house as earlier Orlaith said she wanted to go at 9 am. :bored:

James
29-07-2005, 10:49 PM
Makosi doesn't dislike Derek that much, does she? :conf: But she is agreeing with every word of Orlaith.

Red Moon
29-07-2005, 10:49 PM
Do you think she is staying AndyJK ?

Mike
29-07-2005, 10:51 PM
I cant see how anyone can be annoyed with Derek, i dont particulary like him but hes played the game brilliantly, cant Orlaith see shes giving him exactly what he wants.

Red Moon
29-07-2005, 10:53 PM
I think it is because a lot of the housemates see it as more than a game this year Mike... it has become bigger than a game and it's spilt over on here this year.

BusyBee
29-07-2005, 10:54 PM
Talk about a bitch fest. Wait and see what Makosi has to say for herself tomorrow. Tonight she is agreeing with everying Orlaith is saying, but tomorrow ............ another day, another game.

Seeing as Orlaith has always said she doesnt go for the 'he says', 'she says' she is doing plenty of that.

And she repeats things that were said weeks ago. Let them go.

If she feels like that about Derek why on earth hasnt she said something before. Or is this going on and on and on and on to make us feel sorry for us. After all she isnt 19 years old is she, she is a grown woman. Stand up for yourself.

I have had to turn the tv off cos I found myself shouting at the tv at her she was annoying me so much. There's only so much of the I'm so hard done by that I can take.

If she does go tomorrow, then I for one will give out a cheer.

Mike
29-07-2005, 10:56 PM
Its going to be alot more interesting now, before today Makosi could agree with Orlaith and then bitch about her with Kemal now hes gone she has no one to bitch with.

Red Moon
29-07-2005, 10:58 PM
Well... I guess it proves she not boring she has got us all worked up BusyBee.

You can safely put the TV on the have moved back tho the dinning area to Anthony, Craig, Derek and Eugene.

Yes, because she's said all this before. She will wake up tomorrow morning and go over all the reasons why she shouldn't go, like avoiding two evictions and being interviewed by Davina, then she'll forget all about it. If she really wanted to leave that house she would have walked anytime this week - especially after telling BB that Kemal deserved to stay more than her.

But if she does walk out tomorrow, then frankly she deserves nothing but contempt for denying another contestant's chance to win the show, betraying the people whove phoned up the past couple of weeks to keep her in and poor Kemal (and Science) leaving when they could have stayed.

To me Orlaith is a lame duck kept in by the Irish and lads vote.

James
29-07-2005, 11:04 PM
Did my ears deceive me or did Makosi just say she didn't like Orlaith until today when she saw Orlaith crying?

Now she is Orlaith's best friend it appears.

Red Moon
29-07-2005, 11:06 PM
I guess that will depend on why you voted for Kemal. I voted to remove Kemal not to keep Orlaith because that how the voting system works. I didn't vote to save her. It comes back to that age old question that the voting system is wrong and it removes the more interesting housemates.

Kemal will fell he has the right to feel cheated if she goes, but in terms of the game Kemal was voted out.... the people that voted wanted him to go.

That's the way the game works!

Im not quite sure why you voted Kemal out. I take it's because he's a bigger threat to the housemate you want to win the show.

Opps.... Makosi is crying now.

Orlaith has now told the rest of the house...... and she now telling the rest of the house what she thinks of Derek. She is "slatting his man out of here" she told Anthony. Anthony told her "the bloke isn't a nice person"

Anthony is not going to stop her going this time. Craig is in the bathroom comforting Makosi.

Well if that is her plan it's worked.... at the moment with her in the house it looks like Derek has four votes next week. Even if she goes he could be up again next week with three votes.

She just pull the big move on Derek and has done it successfully and it doesn't matter if she goes or stays.

I don't understand how its being clever though, Mike, Id call it more shooting yourself in the foot. Have I missed something? So, the voting public like to keep in attention seekers constantly making idle threats to walk from the house then changing their minds. What a strange bunch they are.

If she really wanted to go, then she could've gone on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. She despised Science until last Thursday/Friday, and then she was his best friend and said in the diary room that he was the hm that most deserved to win. She's consistently said that she can't stand Kemal, but she was in the diary room once again today saying that Kemal deserved to make it to the last week. Could she, perhaps, have got a bit of a buzz seeing two of the hm's she disliked the most being evicted before her? I think so.

Much as I dislike Derek, I find her quite pathetic at the moment. Yes, she has good reason to dislike him, but her actions simply highlight the fact that he beat her hands down and that she has no answer to him or his tactics. But then again, we shouldn't really expect too much from a woman that spells 'liars' with an 'e'.

Red Moon
30-07-2005, 12:10 AM
You must agree if she goes or stays this is a master move on Derek. She must know she can't win the £100,000 but she can take Derek down with her.

I can't really comment at this point, as I was watching CH4 whilst the majority of this was happening. All I've really seen since is them sharing their various reasons for disliking Derek / disingenuously empathising with Orlaith. Did she really bring anything new to the party? After all, Derek only had two allies in the house, and that's been reduced by 50% now. Still, I can't see the hm's (other than Eugene) sending Derek to Coventry, as they so cowardly did with Science a fortnight ago.

No, but they can nominate him on Monday. He only needs a few votes to be up next week and even without her vote if she convinces Makosi, Craig and Anthony to nominate Derek he will be up next week. Then she is planning to run a press stories about how nasty he is to influence the public vote if she is out the house.

I'm sure it was a woman that interviewed Sandy, and I don't recall her face ever being shown on camera, either. That was the only way he would agree to be interviewed at all.

It doesn't, actually. It simply says that an interview had been scheduled, yet there are no subsequent posts in that thread about O'Dreary interviewing Sandy at all.

Can someone that has a better memory of this fill in the missing pieces here, please? I can't remember Sandy ever being on BBLB (but then again I didn't watch BBLB very much at all until BB5, as it was always so hammy and poorly produced). Sandy was definitely interviewed outdoors, wasn't he? Somewhere like a park, or a garden? My recollection of it is pretty hazy, but I keep picturing it as being quite a rushed and amateurish affair, and the interviewer not being in shot much, if at all. I must have got that image from somewhere, as the only time I've seen him outside of the house otherwise was when he was reluctantly giving soundbites whilst riding a bike on that CH4 documentary. (I can't remember what that was called, either). :conf:

The C4 forums are s**t. They aren't properly moderated, and members actually create threads just to insult another forum member. 'I want so-and-so to die, they are sooooostupid!1'
The mods quite cheerfully ignore this, and just delete people's too-large siggies instead.
Also, I find it disturbing how forum members actually think it's okay to say 'Yeah, I'm homophobic, so what?'

She packed last night. They're making a big thing of it (as Derek was in the pool with Eugene at the time) saying that they're going to play mind games with him about why she's left. They suggested telling him that she was the mole, that she gets to decide on the final week's line-up, etc. All of their ideas sounded about as plausible as Craig's pleas for Orlaith to tell the world that he and Anthony are nothing more than friends, and that he doesn't fancy him at all.

Ah, thanks for telling me.
Still, I wouldn't put it past her to find some stupid reason to change her mind at the last minute, best barricade her in the DR just to be on the safe side.

Well it was 9 am, then 10 am, and then someone else posted to say that she was going this evening instead. She's only a few more postponements away from the final.

Derek is wearing a skirt on E4 at the moment. Lime green t-shirt teamed with fringed leopard-print (? he won't keep still) sarong, split to thigh. Not nice. He needs to accessorise. A crown of thorns and some subtle stigmata, perhaps.

Well, ain't that just typical of the stupid bimbo. She's probably hoping that a HM will ask her to stay, y'know, to give her a good excuse to change her mind.

Derek in a skirt? Please tell me it's not a short one!

Makosi asked her to stay, and apparently she was crying about it earlier on, too.

It's on the knee, but the fringing makes it look longer. He had to hold it to stop the breeze catching it when he took the rubbish out just now.

He often gets up at this time, wanders around the kitchen in his skirt, makes some toast, does a little sweeping and then goes back to bed.

Thanks for the reassurance about the skirt-length, I was having disturbing images.
Derek in a micro-skirt...*shudder*

CharlotteSometimes
30-07-2005, 06:20 AM
That would've been okay. I can't stand Derek as a person, but for a 41 year old man, his body isn't too shabby. I don't like men in boxer shorts much, unless it's the close-fitting lycra type ones. What disturbed me was the bagginess of the garment - it looked more like a dhoti that Gandhi had passed down to him. Men should wear lingerie, so that they could show their brain off to the best advantage. Imagine the fun each morning, watching them trying to decide which pair of knix to wear with a business suit, jeans, overalls, etc. :spin:

I disagree, the image of my overweight fifty-eight year old father in lacy knickers is horrible.

If anyone is reading this right now, please put E4 on and tell me what you think of Orlaith in her rollers. This is basically what I'm seeing (Orlaith far left):

I've edited my post. They wrote that song themselves - I was thinking of I Fought The Law, which was indeed a cover version.

Makosi is still asking her not to change her mind, but can't be bothered to even get out of bed to say goodbye to her. And she's back to the weave rather than the wig at the moment - in bed wearing sunglasses.

Just reading through some of the post. I obviously missed alot last night.

CharlotteS I wondered if anyone else noticed this. I thought the same thing when she was waxing lyrical about Kamal after despising him for the last two weeks. She must have taken some evil delight in seeing them eivcted before her. I thought it was part of her game plan but it obviously isn't because the bee-atch has gone.

Very interesting views here. I hadn't thought about this seriously before now as I tend to opt for my * lets always see the good in people* head before making any judgment on a person. I did think that Orlaigh couldnt handle Dereks hateful remarks to such an extent she couldnt bear to be in the house a moment longer, and afer Kamal being evicted couldnt really leave the house that night so opted for this morning, see it all makes sence to the nice optomisitc side of me.

But thinking it about it and after staying up half the night with a tummy bug and watching the live feed most of the night, some things didn't quite add up. She did indeed dislike Kamal but as stated she could of walked earlier in the week so saving him, a thing she didnt want to do obviously.

She was saying to Anthony, Makosi and Craig that she intends to go on every single newspaper she could and slaughter Derek Laud, which included all tv appearances and all interviews. She was not assuming all the papers would want to interview her, she knew they would want her story. Clever plan if she did indeed plan it this way as they are going to be falling over themselves to get her story and what coverage the girl is going to get. Poor victimised Orlaigh, brought to almost cracking point by a caring Tory.
