Yesterday I started playing and finished The Blackwell Convergence. Now I'm sure most of you are unaware of this cool little game, so I'll give you the low down.
It could best be described as a point & click mystery/adventure puzzle game for the PC. Developed and published by Wadjet Eye Games, July of this year. Not a top end game, graphically, but the humorous dialogue and convincing voice acting makes up for that. It's about a medium (somebody who can communicate with spirits) and her ghost friend, or "guide", that must investigate and "free" troubled spirits that have died under suspicious circumstances. The game is pretty short, I completed it in about three or four hours, but I was truly gripped by the story and character development. Not many games do that to me now.
Now I have a hunger for more point & click games (they tend to focus heavily on story-line and dialogue which is a huge plus for me), so I am now playing The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition. I heard very good things about it.
