View Full Version : Noo, my college will cancel A Levels at the end of the year!!!

It has come to a shock to all of us but Ive just found out!!

In Brooklands College there are 2 colleges (one is Ashford, the other is Weybridge, I go to Weybridge). Butr apparently Ashford is losing money and need to transefer all their BTEC students to Weybridge, and to make room for them.... A LEVELS WILL BE CANCELLED!!

What the ****!!!:shocked: We are all not happy. We, all my friends are going to complain and petition for it when we get back from half term. They cant do this!!

So basically they are kicking all the A level students out and i guess we need to find a new college at the end of the year!!!:devil:

That's idiotic! Surely at the very least they have to help sort out transfers to other colleges, they can't just throw you out surely? I hope you do fight this and win Salv, it's outrageous.

Every single person i know from college, are banding together(on Facebook lol), phoning up complaining, and when we get back, the fight is on!! We are actually going ahead with it!!

Technically they will be ... A levels are split into As and A2, its two separate year long courses.

Well I hope it goes well for you and they at the very least helps sort out another college for you.
