He can sing decently yes but every time he performs it's like watching a two minute acting class on OTT singing cliches and he never reigns it. The facial expressions and stage presence is just cringey to watch. The only reason he'll stay in for ages is because Simon Cowell shoves him down our throats while screaming at us to love him and the sheep will. Not saying all Danyl's fans are sheep but he'll stay for a long time because of the sheep who take Simon's word as fact.

He's a good singer but he just ruins it with the ott-ness.

Simon says is a double edged sword. On the one side; he is definitely the only judge who gives valid criticisms, on the other hand, he completely uses and abuses the fact that the public listen to what he has to say. He can almost always singlehandedly decide the outcome of the contest from the beginning.

I agree, I have never liked him. I don't even think he is a decent singer, every performance has been off key too me... dont know about this week, I refused to even listen, along with J&E.

I like him but he is overated yes.

If he sang "porperly" like how the song goes he could be amazing as he has a very powerful voice.

But he always "makes it his own" and he makes it sound meh other than the really big notes.
