Not really. Homophobic to me would include going around a gay pride march telling marchers that their 'behaviour' is wrong.

I don't really believe people should have a view on homosexuality though... homosexuality is real and unavoidable. There is no right and wrong behind it... it is just natural.
You can't really have much of an opinion on it, thats like having an opinion on should we eat or not?

I laughed when I saw it was written by the Christian Institute. Basically, they are the equivalent to homophobia what Combat 18 are to anti-semitism.

But there is also the case of a street preacher who just quoted a passage from the Bible, possibly Romans 1 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans%201&version=NIV) and in particular versus 24 - 27 (http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans%201:24-27&version=NIV) which was documenting homosexual behaviour. He was arrested and charge on a similar offence.
Now this verse has been read in churches for quite some time, which has been argued to be a public place.
Are you now saying that people in church are banned from reading out Bible passages?
What about those parts of the Koran and the Torrah that speak out about homosexual behaviour.
This is a case of a letter to a council, read by only how many people?
What happened to Voltaire who is supposed to have said "I disagree entirely with what you are saying, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"

I am sure if gay people want to be 'saved' they will find Jesus [because apparently, his lost]. They don't need a preaching to on a day that should be filled with joy and pride for them.

The only difference is hell is imaginary. Gay Pride parades are not. And walking through a Gay Pride parade to drag them down and preach to them is moronic. These are known as facts of life. Have fun with them.

Like I said she's entitled to believe whatever she wants but why force her beliefs on people who don't want it forced upon them, it doesn't seem Christian to me. If she's right and they really are wrong then why not let God judge them, she's not God so it's not her job!!

In my experience street preaching does not work, when we have done outreach we just had a stall so people could come and read material or chat with people. If someone asks about homosexuality we might just show them in the Bible, both Old and more importantly the New Testament why it declares it to be a sin.
However even such a low key explanation could be declared a "hate crime" by some who are militant about gay rights.
This is the problem we face, and ironically it is the so called liberal intelligencia that shows the most intollerance of alternative view points. We already have had one preacher arrested just for reciting certain Bible passages in the street, just because they were those passages declaring homosexual behaviour as sin. If I add to the mix, the story of a headmistriss some years ago to show how some in the Gay Rights movment went to extremism.
This was a London head teacher who was a lesbian. At that time there was an initiative to bring Shakespere to school children by a professional theatre production. The scheme was they helped the children put on their own play and then they got free tickets to see a professional show of the same play.
The play selected was Romeo and Juliet and so this headteach banned her children from taking part because the play was too hetrosexist and did not present a good protrayal of homosexual love.
That was tolerance was it not?
The headteacher at the time was widley condemned in the press and parliament. Nowadays, I would expect no editor would dare criticise her for fear of the midnight knock on the door, and being carted off to chokey for being seen as homophobic for criticising a fine upstanding woman for trying to show such tolernace and protecting her children from a DWEM*
DWEM = Dead White European Male. In the US their works were banned from being studied and the reason cited was the injustice of the slave trade???
