I just find his theatrics very forced on stage. His sing off performance was just the usual mic tossing and false bravado that I've come to recognise as being Danyl's defining traits. Really needs to tone it down and take on a more humble, naturalistic stance.

That said - he is one of the better singers - and this is supposed to be a talent contest, not a popularity contest.

People do tend to vote for who they like and who they feel sorry for - and although understandable - is a very unfair way of voting in a talent contest.

Im happy he was there, Simon has been so smug that all his 3 would survive for ages, and he passed his smugness on to Danyl.

The press might be one reason (him bullying people)
Or he ended up there by default because of the campaign to get Rachel through by all the newspapers, and all the people voting for Jamie and Lloyd because of not many good comments and not a good performance.

yeah people thought he was probs safe. I just watched it on repeat now. Still need to watch extra factor of last night! but anyway I quite liked it that a "favourite" was in the bottom 2, however he is very talented and got a unique voice. He deserves to stay for some more weeks eventhough he comes across as a bit unlikeable.

You see the problem is if he is all humble and sympathetic people will think he just wants the sympathy vote and if he does not make it out to be that if he does not win he will jump off a boat or die then he is cocky. so its a lose lose situation:)
