"It's a breezy summer morning. Hugo, 20, wakes up and smells the ocean air and it blows through the satin drapes in his bedroom. he gets out of bed, groggy from the night before and walks on the cold marble floor to the kitchen. On his way he notices something under the door. He goes to inspect, curious as there's no post on Wednesdays in Dubai. He picks up a white envelope and opens it. Inside there is a note written on pink, rose scented paper. It reads:

Hey Hugo
long time no bitch-about-firewire right?
So listen I'm having a little wedding ceremony next week, nothing big just a few cool people and you better be one of them biatch.

'oh my ****ing vishnu' Hugo, now accustomed to live in the Middle-East, whispers to himself. As he tries to contemplate whats just happened he makes his way to the kitchen and pours himself a bowl of A-Z-N Loops and sits at the counter. He munches away, and his thoughts wander about what he could wear. It has been so long since he and Mark had seen each other, he wanted to make an impression. The beige Armani was always an option. As he pondered, a manicured had slithers around the door, a set of long, red nailz rapped on the timber door. 'Guesss whooooo...' a seductive, female voice purred.

'Come in baby' Hugo called. Jen appeared from behind the door, in red lacy lingerie. 'Come back to bed baby, I'm getting lonely and cold. Maybe you could....warm me up ;)' she pleaded as she made her way over the the counter top. She leaned against the cold chrome and noticed something under her voluptuous, breasts. She pulled Mark's wedding invitation from underneath them. 'What is this' she teased. Hugo grabbed for it, but he was too slow. 'JEN! DO NOT READ THAT. it's personal...'.
'Oh come on. It cant be that bad, whatever it is...'. she slipped it slightly from the envelope'
Hugo chased her around the kitchen, until she tripped on her dressing gown and the envelope slipped from her hands and slid across the tiled floor. she crawled to grab it. The invitation had fallen out and now laid open on the kitchen floor. She skimmed it, as Hugo watched aghast.
'Honey, before you say anything, it's not what it looks like, I swear!'

Outside of their mansion, doves could be seen fluttering away from the high pitched scream that came from Jen's mouth when she saw one name...

Waldorf"

"It's a grim gloomy day. Shaun Collins, or as he is now known as Shu-Ann, was lying across the sofa in his small flat in Torquay. He had just woken up. He checked the digital clock on the floor next to an open bag of nachos. 4:52PM. 'Aw crap' he mutters to himself. He turns on the TV, without getting up from his slouched position on the sofa. He flicks through the channels searching for something inspiring to no avail. He figures he may aswell go back to sleep, go he turns off the TV and turns on his side. He shuts his eyes and tries to think of the bright lights of Las Vegas and what it was gonna be like when he made it big over there, with his own show, having his own dressing room and a big stage with hot, naked backup dancers in speedos. This was his regular sleeping technique.

As he tried to get to sleep, he hears a rustles from the halls. 'Those ****ing rats again' he says to himself. He tries to ignore it and doesn't move. The rustling continues, now getting more aggressive. 'For **** SAKE. I bet Celine Dione doesn't have to deal with this ****' he mumbles. He gets up, begrudingly and walks slowly to the hall. Suddenly the rustling stops. Shu-Ann inspects the hallway. He sees a single white envelope that has been shoved under his front door on the maroon carpet. He picks it up and tears it open.

Hey Shaun
I know its been a long time since we've chatted. But 'm getting married. I want you to come. I hope you'll find it within you to come. For me, please.

Shu-Ann's eyes light up. 'HOLY MOTHER OF PEARLS!' he exclaims. It had been so long since Shu-Ann saw Mark. Of course, their relationship was a little different back then. Never the less, Shu-Ann missed their late night rendezvous's and would jump at the chance to see him again. Sure it would hurt seeing mark with another guy, but it was worth it if it meant he got to see Mark one more time.

Just then Shu-Ann heard a polyphonic blurping of I'm Coming Out - Diana Ross from a far. He ran around the flat trying to find his cell before it was too late. He eventually found it at the bottom of the stars, next to a pair of bedazzled stilettos. 'Hello' he panted has just grabbed it just in time.

'Hey Shu, listen I need to talk to you about some song ideas I have for your regular set. The owners of Joe's bar feel the Jeffree Starr version of Boom Boom Pow is a tad too.... explicit for their customers. So I was thinking, why don't replace it with a Bootylicious cover? Sounds hot right??' his manager Dean droned.
'Yeah sounds qt, whatever. Dean I need to cancel some shows. I just got and invitation to the wedding of MARK ****ING WALDORF!!'
'Waldorf... hmm' Dean puzzled
'YOU KNOOOOWW. Mark. From TiBB. We used to stay up all night using Britney emoticons on MSN, it was hilarious, back in the old days?'
'OH THAT MARK!' Dean gasped '.....oh, that mark.' he continued, his tone turning sour.
'Oh don't start Dean, listen I'll call you back later with details!'

Shu-Ann florished with excitement. As he turned around to grab those nachos he saw earlier he caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror in the hall. GAH! Lines of black mascara streamed down his face, blood red lipstick smeared down his chin, a result of falling asleep head first into his sofa's cushions with his stage make-up on. 'Note to self,' Shaun said, 'start deep skin cleansing routine immediately'. He skipped up stairs to start moisturising, all the while bubbling with anticipation..."

"Gary sat down on his hot pink, leather sofa and threw his feet over the lime green coffee table. As he flicked through this wee'sk OHAY! Magazine, trying to find his very first article, he noticed a piece about Twilight Twitty's new single. 'Ha' he muttered quietly, 'me and the guys always did say she was gonna be huge.' He continued riffling through the glossy pages until he saw it. There it was, in shiny, purple text. PROTOX - THE BOTOX OF OUR GENERATION By Gary Port. It had been a really tough piece to write, Gary wasn't used to handling such hard hitting news stories like this. After he had read through it, he got a scissors from the kitchen, cut it out and stuck it to his fridge, under his Christina Aguilera magnet. 'There, my proudest moment so far, for all to see.'

Gary's journalism career was really taking off. To think it all started from a fictional story he wrote all those years back on that Big Brother forum. That lead to a column on Perez.com and it all went from there. 'Hahaha, Dezzy was right. I really do have a talent for writing!' he laughed to himself. Just then he sees something from the corner of his eye. Out in the hallway of his spacious, London apartment, something appeared to have slipped through the letter box. He went to pick it up and heard the clip, clop of wooden clogs scuppering away quickly. He picked up the envelope. The first thing he noticed was that there was no postal stamp, this had been hand delivered. He curiously tore it open and pulled out a sheet of magenta colored paper. He sniffed. 'Is that rose scented?!' he pondered to himself. He unfolded the letter and read it silently to himself:

Hey Gary!
I really enjoyed our little coffee date a couple of months back, reminiscing on old times, so I'm hoping you'll accept this invitation to my wedding! I'd love if you can come, some of the other guys from TiBB have been invited too, it'll be fun!

Wow. Gary never expected to hear from Mark again after what happened last time they met. Gary thought back to 4 months ago when he strolled into Starbucks, only see his old MSN buddy Mark sitting there reading a tattered copy of 'Through The Storm' by Lynne Spears. 'OH MY GAWD! OH MY...Is that you Mark Waldorf! Oh my gosh!' he had exclaimed. Mark looked up and his eyes lit up.
'Gary! Oh my days how are you, its been sucha long time!' he gasped
'I've been good. Great even, infact I just landed an internship down at OHAY! Magazine!'
'Wow thats awesome. They're gonna love you there'
'Ugh, I know right?! OMG that hat is to die for', Gary mentioned as he spots a baby pink, woolen beaney resting on top of Mark's shaven head.
'Aww thank you and hey check this out,' Mark turned the hat inside out and pressed a little red button. Suddenly the sound of 3 by Britney spears was tinkling from the beaney. People all around stared at Mark and Gary.
'Oh wow... gosh thats so erm, so cute!' Gary stammered out of manners.

Amidst all this, Gary noticed Mark shedding a single tear.
'Mark, honey...are you alright gurl??'
'I'm sorry, its just that...well it's the 3 year anniversary next month and this song really gets to me. It must be the lyrics idk' he sobbed.
'Oh god, of course, that must be so difficult for you,' Gary thought back to 3 years ago when it was announced that Britney Spears had died tragically in a freak ice-skating accident. Mark blew his nose loudly.
'It really is,' he sniffed. He then noticed for the first time all the people watching him, laughing to themselves.
'Oh god, I'm sorry Gary it;s been great but I have to go' he exclaimed and he ran out of the coffee shop. Gary glanced at the table.
'MARK YOU FORGOT YOUR....book' Gary tried to say but it was too late. He was left sitting there with a now cold latte, trying to absorb what had just happened.

Despite all this, Gary was curious to meet the man his friend was to marry and decided he definitely want to go. He wondered what sort of ceremony Mark had planned. Knowing him it would be something fun anyway. Gary, still trying to comprehend everything, wandered slowly back to the couch and picked up his magazine. He continued to read through it but couldn't concentrate. He was too pre-occupied with thoughts of what to get Mark and this mystery man for a wedding present. "

"Hugo adjusted his tie in the mirror in the lobby of the church. He was feeling all nervous and clammy. This was all so surreal, one day he's sipping matini's poolside with his fierce wife Jennifer, the next he's back in rainy London for the wedding of his one time online-BFF Mark freaking Waldof?!? He pressed down his shirt and looked at himself. 'You are a strong, competent gurl. MAN, I mean man....you can do this...' he muttered to himself . He checked his hair one last time and then walked briskly through the double doors and into a darkly lit room with a few rows of seats. He looked around and saw a lady in a suit he thought he recognised but thought nothing of it. He sat down, third row from the front and starting reading the book let but he couldn't understand most of it, it all seemed another language to him. He closed his eyes and tried to relax, assuring himself it would all be cool.

Suddenly his silence was broken by a holler of 'WELL HELLOOOO- oh. where the **** is everyone?' Shu-Ann burst into the room in a sparkling, turquoise, full length gown, with transparent heels and a tiara resting a top of his towering blonde wig. He stumbled down the aisle paying no attention to Hugo and sat down in the second row, opposite Hugo. A short man in a blue suit sat next to him, Shu-Ann muttered something to him but he was too busy on his BlackBerry to notice. Hugo stared at this travesty of a man for what seemed like hours before finally breaking his stare and decided it was time he re-introduced himself.

He shimmied over a few seat so he was next to them. 'Shaun? Is..is that you?!' he spurted. Crap. he had planned to be a tad smoother than that. 'Actually' Shaun began as he flipped his hair over his shoulders, 'I prefer to be called Shu-Ann these days...' Hugo went blank. 'Of, erm course.'

Shu-Ann looked more closely at Hugo now. 'And you are?' he chuckled.
'It's me...Hugo?'
'HUGO? O:' Shaun was taken a back. The Hugo he remembered wasn't quite so much a quivering mess as this stammering moron next to him.
'Wow...' Shaun turned to the man next to him, 'Hey Dean, recognise anyone?' he asked with a cheeky smirk.
'...should I?' Dean queried.
'It's Hugo!' Shaun leaned in a tad closer 'You know, that guy who Mark.. you know....'
'Oh of course! How could I forget!' Dean went in to shake hands with Hugo who apprehensively accepted. He still wasn't sure of who this Dean person was. And to be truthful, he didn't care, he was too mesmorised by Shaun's make-up. It was like an oil painting. Colorful with an oily base...

'So, our little Mark getting hitched eh? Who'd have thunk it?' Shaun giggled. Hugo sat back on his seat. How did he get here? He never imagined he'd be sitting next a ****** Shaun at the wedding of his one time lover with his wife waiting outside. Before Hugo could contemplate any longer, the doors opened again. This time another familiar face was on the other side.

Gary strolled coolly and slowly in and took in his surroundings..."
