Has anyone here ever sold anything they've written?

There are lots of people here posting stories and ideas, I just wondered if any of you have ever sold anything you've written?

No point trying as I'm too young to be published but as soon as I'm old enough I plan to send out a novel I'm working on.

I won a signed album once for a review I wrote,and my letter got into Heat and the Heat book(Gary's did too :P). That's the best I have,lol! I'm gonna try write a book this year cos I have nowt else to do.

I once gave the Daily Star a story and got paid for it. £300 was not bad for a couple of short e-mails and it made page 5. Lol

As I mentioned before, unfortunately, because of how it came about with my "Season one" on the defunct Channel 4 forum and when it was relaunched on TIBB with Season 3, I used Big Brother as a back drop. So possible copyright issues. Also Season 4 needs rework, because I used two guest characters.

I plan to eventually, I'm writing a novel at the moment in my spare time which I plan to send to publisher's when it's finished but I don't expect it to be done for a year or so yet since I'm taking a lot of time with it.

My sister gave me a £40 token a while back for making your own books, sort of like micro-vanity publishing.

I did mention to her compiling my Mystical Realms stories into one volume, however I still need to check about certain copyright issues, bush as reference to Big Brother and the use of two guest characters way back in Season 4
