Just added the News Story to the site from the Channel 4 website

At this stage of the game? Seems pretty pointless to me. I bet the new housemate won't be eligible to win, so what's the point of putting her in there? Or maybe the program makers have realised that it's got boring since some of the more entertaining housemates were strangely beaten by Orlaith in the public vote, and so they're doing it for ratings.

Ruth
31-07-2005, 09:16 AM
I wonder if KINGA will be the new housemate? Or does she know too much about the show?

Red Moon
31-07-2005, 09:16 AM
She will be eligible to win and nominate and be nominated in this weeks nominations.

Lance
31-07-2005, 09:28 AM
Yep it's definately Kinga according to the NOTW and she is in the running to win now too which I'm sure the housemates won't be happy about.

Ruth

I just read the article. I feel sorry for whoever it is. Although the other housemates will probably be extremely friendly to her face, I bet they'll all be bitching about her behind her back, because they won't be happy that someone can come in this close to the end, and be eligible to win it. To be honest, you can understand them thinking like that though - they've been in there for 9(?) weeks, and someone could come in two weeks from the end, and swan off with the prize! Although I should think there is virtually no chance whatsoever that this new housemate will win. She will probably be the next evictee, which would mean that we are STILL stuck with Craig:rolleyes:

Z
31-07-2005, 09:36 AM
Yeah... It does seem pointless doesn't it?

Thus, Big Brother will have a twist in evictions this week.

Probably a double, which is what I've been thinking for a couple of weeks now.

And if there is, Makosi won't be up. That's like making the Queen go onto the frontline of Iraq...

Red Moon
31-07-2005, 09:43 AM
It seem more than pointless it just pathetic . Adding a new housemate so they can make some extra money on phone calls before the show ends. If they really need 5 people in the final week why didn't they just cancel nominations this week.

I just hate they way the producers mess with the game sometimes.

Z
31-07-2005, 09:45 AM
Yeah, but they obviously thought Orlaith wasn't being serious too, so they had this prepared.

Obviously they tampered with the votes though, because they thought Orlaith would threaten to do it, but not actually do it...

Even though I think the secret garden was a terrible idea, its only fair Kinga took her place in the house. I'm sure Makosi will be pleased and maybe it will free her of the guilt for not picking Kinga to join the house.

It will be Kinga which is pretty annoying as I found her overbearing. Why did they not have all the old housemates up for the vote to go back in? That would generated even more money for them in phone calls and also it would have added an entertaining housemate.

Anyone but Kinga .

Because of the secret garden and the fact Kinga has not been evicted by the public.

I thought Kinga was good fun and came across as reasonably intelligent when she appeared on BBLB, not at all angry or resentful towards Makosi having not been picked.

I think she'll prove a lot of people wrong. It'll be interesting to see what Derek makes of it.

Yer I know that she was never a real housmeate but I think they could have been a bit smarter and had all the ex-housemates and her up for the vote.

I think Derek will find her ghastly and she obviously has an axe to grind with Makosi.

Of course it could be a boy.... all the speculation is coming from the fact the picture on the channel 4 website is a female and the article in the Sunday Mirror.

Now where is Hooly.... still missing!

Plus the story in the news of the world about Kinga coming in.

I really do hope that they see what a good opportunity it would be to put an ex-housemate back in.

Red Moon
31-07-2005, 10:12 AM
Well I don't believe anything I read in the News of the World so it's not going to be Kinga.... LOL

Z
31-07-2005, 10:12 AM
Yeah, I think it's their only option, because she wasn't actually evicted.

The only housemate's they can put in would be Mary, Roberto, Kinga and Vanessa because those that were evicted were up against people still in there, and none of the three are very popular, thus leaving Kinga...

Arneldo

The producers took that extreme action in BB 4 because the housemates left inside had no entertainment value whatsoever. I doubt they'll ever do that again.

With Kinga entering there's an added twist because she's eligible to win. :dog:

 I hope you're right. I think they may well have just thought oh new housemate it has to be Kinga. Some women on the radio this morning claiming to be a big brother reporter seemed to not even watch the show, saying Orlaith left on friday and that Kemal was coming in to replace her and saying that kemal was a female .

Aimee

I hope it is Kinga. To be honest, at least she has a genuine shot at winning whereas a new, new housemate would not. I hope she isn't too cross with Makosi and that she reaaaaalllllly pisses Derek off.:hello:

I also think it will be GREAT for Eugene as he will not then spend all his time with Derek, who is turning him into a horrible sponge, sucking up all his bile. eeeeewwww

The thing is if it is Kinga she will be out by this time next week if she is up for eviction. All the larger than life characters have been voted out already and she would go the same way. The real winner from putting a new housemate in is going to be Derek who if he was up this week would have got voted out.

I just hope it's not Kinga!

Arneldo

Eugene would love to see kinga again as them 2 bonded really well in the secret garden.

Agreed Derek will despise her.. I think Kinga & Eugene got on better than Eugene & Orlaith in the Secret Garden.. but when Derek starts bitching about her I think Eugene will turn against her (as he's a fake follower). Craig will hate her, Anthony wont mind her, and I think the only one she'll speak to is Moloko.

Aimee

I think atm, there is enough good will to keep Kinga in if she gets nominated this week and, hopefully, this is the best shot we have at getting rid of Derek.

Had there not been a new HM then Derek and possibly Craig would be up [they still may] and Craig could well go before Derek. For this reason alone I hope its Kinga.

i have read in the 'News of the World' Kinga is to be let back into the BB house. But how will this work? This is where it gets complecated...??

she may be let back in the house, but she wont be allowed to win or get voted out, just make up the numbers again,

or

she will be made emune from the evictions for one week, and then put in the nominations allowing her a chance to become and runner up or become winner to BB2005

we will find out at 9pm 2nite on Channel 4 ( 31/07/05)

I would find it brilliant if she won and Derek went out against her! I would laugh and laugh and laugh some more!

Orlaith managed to stay against big housemates. I think Kingha has a strong chance because people are fed up of certain people in the house.

I like the fact that she has been given a second chance because I felt really sorry for her! She said she had 2 friends and she wanted to prove herself. I hope she does.

No that was BB3 (the best one along with BB2!) BB4 was the one where there was next to no viewers as it was so boring, the most boring HM's ever.. Cameron was the winner I think.

Hang one!! If John Tickle was in that one then I loved it! However I didn't really love the African swap. It was a nice thought and it was lovely of Cameron, but it wasn't that great for me.
The best for me was perhaps Big brother 2. I loved the Helen and Paul story. I would have loved this years if there weren't so many psychos in it.

Who will it be?Web Exclusive: New Housemate
Day 66, 04:15

We can exclusively reveal that there will be a new Housemate entering the Big Brother House, live on tonight's hour-long show from 9pm.

Davina will reveal the identity of the latest Housemate to join the Big Brother House as they bring the complement up to six, following the departure of Orlaith.

Housemates are bound to be stunned by the new arrival, who will be eligible to win Big Brother. They will also be able to nominate and be nominated for eviction by their fellow Housemates.

Make sure you tune in tonight to see the newcomer enter the House and catch the reactions of Anthony, Craig, Derek, Eugene and Makosi. :colour:

They can't do as they wish and putting an a housemate in is hardly original so why not just have a vote. It will be much better than putting in that annoying Kinga. If she goes in I think I will turn off until she goes.

I agree with you BB fernzy. If big brother don't want an all male final they just need cancel nominations this week. I can't see the point of putting Kinga back in the house. It will just annoy the general public.

But maybe that's the idea.... that way they will make more money on phone calls if she is up for eviction this week.

Just had a thought!!

Can Kinga actually be classed as a "new housemate"? She's already had her stay in the house (if you can call the Secreat Garden part of the house) so really she's an ex-housemate, isn't she?

I don't think it's going to be Kinga.

Three of the papers have, so i think its true. Shes not an actual housemate because she hasnt been able to nominate or be up for eviction or even meet any of the other housemates [Except makosi]

Well according to Kinga BB fernzy:

She loves making people laugh. She is a self-confessed exhibitionist who loves being the centre of attention

I don't think you can rely on the tabloids. Anyone remember the Mirror from 3 weeks before the start of this BB saying the house was split into two floors and they wouldn't be allowed outside, and the list of "New Housemates" including a 60 year old guy, a stripper and loads of other crap like that - not one word was correct yet they ran a 3 page article on it!

I bet whoever wrote that will be kicking themselves now! I hope it is Kinga as I thought she could be quite cool (if annoying), and she wouldn't really be a "new" housemate as such so it wouldn't matter so much if she did go on to win!

Noel.

BIG BROTHERS' BIG CON
May 15 2005

BB chiefs' dirty trick on 11 'dummies' Con victims will be voted off in hours Churchman & male stripper are housemates

BIG Brother bosses have devised their most dastardly plot yet - conning 12 contestants into thinking they have been picked for the show.

The evil plan involves two teams of housemates - one a "dummy dozen" and the other for real. Neither will know the other exists.

While the "dummies" are ushered into the BB house after packing their suitcases and saying tearful goodbyes to families and friends, the real ones will be shown into another part of the building.

A few hours later - after they've unpacked - 11 of the "dummies" will be booted out by public vote, leaving just one to join the real team.

Last night, a BB insider said: "This has to be the ultimate con - 12 poor hopefuls are going to believe they've been chosen and 11 will have their dreams shattered almost straight away." The Sunday Mirror can also reveal who 16 of the 24 housemates - real and otherwise - in BB6 will be. They include an ex-cop, a stripper-turned-dustman, a nurse, a stunning female builder and BB's first gay couple. One contestant is aged 56 - the oldest BB housemate yet.

The Channel 4 insider said: "We've picked the most ludicrous medley of misfits ever, including three beautiful maneaters. We want the craziest, raunchiest show in British TV history - I think these guys guarantee it."

We can also reveal how:

IT will be the longest running Big Brother yet - lasting 100 days.

HOUSEMATES will be handed £5,000 each and win more by escaping eviction and passing tasks.

BEFORE contestants leave, they must give half the money they win to a BB-mate of their choice.

THE final 12 contestants will be split into two groups, half living in the upper part of the house, and the other half in the bottom.

BOSSES have deliberately picked housemates they know will have sex in the house.

BIG Brother was so worried plans would leak out they have banned hopefuls from reading newspapers in the lead-up.

It all kicks off with a thrilling launch show, presented by Davina McCall and Dermot O'Leary on May 27 - and won't end until September 3.

In a complex double-bluff, viewers will see the first group - the "dummies" - secretly moved into the top part of the building, called Owl House. Davina will then move another group - the real team - into the lower part, called Sun House.

The 12 Owl housemates don't know that all but one of them will be voted off by the public that night. The surviving housemate will then join the others.

The insider said: "They are in for a nasty surprise and a big shock."

But the cruelty doesn't stop there. The remaining 12 contestants will then be split into two groups and live in the Owl or Sun house to compete against each other.

Those in the Owl House, with no windows and artificial lighting, will only be allowed out at night.

Those in the Sun House can only venture out during daylight hours. Both houses have their own bedrooms, living area, bathroom and kitchen - but will have to share the garden at different times.

A secret staircase links to the two parts, but can only be opened by Big Brother.

After a couple of weeks, the two houses finally merge and individual housemates can be nominated for eviction.

Each week there will be three tasks which can win them immunity from nomination and luxury goods such as food and cigarettes.

But for the first time in the show's history, housemates can also win individual prize money. Each housemate is given a £5,000 fund when they first walk through the doors. They get another £5,000 for each week they survive.

However, if they get evicted, they have to give half their total winnings to a surviving housemate. After two months, they can bank all their prize money and keep it, even if evicted. The Big Brother winner will walk away with £75,000.

The show insider said: "The prize money will set housemate against housemate like never before. The longer you stay in, the more money you earn, but also the more people you have to nominate for eviction. It could get very unpleasant."

BB6 chiefs face stiff competition when the show starts - as they go head to head with ITV1's rival reality show Celebrity Love Island.

Our insider said: "It's going to be full-on sex this year, with wall-to-wall romps. This lot won't care who sees them naked or getting up to naughtiness. We're on to a winner."

According to the channel 4 site:

Davina McCall will be on hand to usher the new guy or gal into the House. And after that, they're on their own.

The interesting word is new..... Kinga isn't new!

I think it will be a new HM to be honest - Kinga had her 5 minutes of fame and has done all the BBLB stuff - I think it will be a stunner to work things up a bit in the last days

Well if she has been out the house since she left the big brother garden I don't think they will let her in.

I got a feeling it's going to be a man.

The stories are all decoys.... the papers say it's Kinga to get us all talking and complaining etc, but the Channel four website say's it's a new housemate so it can't be Kinga. The papers also say Big Brother wants a girl in the house so it's going to be a guy. Another thing I can't see Channel four having more than four standby's. Two male and two females. The females have been used up as have one of the males. That leaves just one male standby left.

I think he signed a contract which says he's not allowed to discuss the show in public until it is over.

That is my guess anyway.

He will be back.... even if it is him in tonight. There are number of people on here that convinced him to go in for the auditions last year. He will at least give the site an interview and he has a lot of friends here he wouldn't disappoint.

Looks like he is not going in if the BBC story is right.... they claim it is Kinga, but the picture is a bit suspect.
