How can girls wear make-up?

I had eye liner and mascara on last night go out as Dracula. Also face paints etc around my eyes and it took me atleast 25 minutes to get it all off it's such a bitch.

I hate Make Up, I also don't get girls do it, I have to wear it on stage and stuff and you just have that constant feeling something is on your face, and you want too itch but you can't. Which makes you itch more.

Facepaint is rank, I still have silver paint on my face after a shower! I'm sure proper makeup is different, but still, I couldn't deal with it every day!

I agree, when i got dressed up for a Xmas party last year i wore loads of makeup.... hideous!! it makes you look very different though.

I looked a bit weird.

Some people in general really need it (sorry), but others dont at all! I prefer natural beauty.... i saw this girl in town yesterday, must have been my age, but she has SO much on, you could hardly see her skin at all... it was awful!

I'm guessing that the make-up girls wear is a lot different to face paint. Face paint is designed for parties and the likes while normal make-up is designed for day-to-day use so surely it would have to be a lot more comfortable to wear.

With non usually they arent the greatest, and some slap on waaayyy to much.

Although there are quite a lot of girls who look quite good without make-up while some look good with a touch of make-up. It depends on the girl really.
It's the ones who have like bright orange faces and like a tonne of eye shadow that can ruin their look.

I can get away with not much makeup, I have naturally smooth skin and big eyelashes so I usually just use eyeliner and maybe some blusher. (Foundation on the rare occasion I get a spot!).
