Simon saved him - which he clearly did do, he knew he'd have more votes than Rachel but couldn't actually make the statement 'Lloyd should stay over Rachel' as he knows its unjustified - because he needs him for the tour so all the little teenage girls by tickets.

You really don't get it do you. It is not, or should not, be about liking him. I like him. It is about the best and most talented singer winning what is supposed to be a singing competition. That is not Lloyd. Simple as.
