I know its a long shot but its very possible.
Wouldnt most his fans be teenagers... halloween= teens go out!!

All my friends (but i couldnt) went out on Saturday night and the girls were disgusted that he was in the bottom 2, and that they couldnt vote for him.

Most of the votes take place on the Saturday nights after the show.

Also on Sat night, XF got just over 10m.... about 2m less than the equivelent last Saturday because of Halloween. (but last night got a huge 13.9m)

It was the only hope we had, NO WAY will he be in the bottom 2 for a very long time!!

I was recovering from my eighteenth party the night before, and was out all day with family so I didn't get a chance to vote [was out sunday as well].

I'd assume that was a reason, along with his fanbase possibly thinking he's safe caused his bottom two-ness, not forgetting he had an awful song choice too.

Could be. OR, maybe it's because he's ****.

We will never know.

Yes there are Pj i think this is a retty good reason though, id like to see how many viewers they had..

If the lost viewers last night id say about 75% of them were under 18

Its no excuse, i dislike him so much. Im just worried thats the reason, hence him being safe for the next few weeks.

I want him OUT!

I think that could be true Salv, I think We won't get another chance to remove him for a few weeks now as his fanbase will know to vote now.

Unfortunately I think this could be true, many kids and teenagers going trick or treating/halloween parties.. then they forget to vote but I want him out next week, he is literally ****.

Of course it's not an excuse. Let's be realistic here, the majority of voters are teenage girls, and they vote every single year for people they find attractive.

I for one was very, very shocked when he hit the bottom two. But I think you're right, it must've been Halloween.

Either that or as I said in my other thread, all of his fans have moved onto J&E.

Yeah I said some of his fans have moved onto J+E! I hope this is the case :D I think it will be that and well this halloween factor too!

Lol yeah I know when it was down the final 3.. I was like.. "arghhh dermot is going to say LLLLLLOYD" but was so relieved when he said "JOHN AND EDWARD" YAY!!!! :D

i hate Lloyd. If simon was doing his job right, he would of kept Rachel as she can ACTUALLY SING, and was one of the best singers in the competition, Lloyd is worse than average, hes a tiny bit better than J+E..

yeah i think thats why, most of my friends who vote for him didn't vote because they were out most of the night and forgot to the next day.

I definatly think that was major factor, it would be interesting to see a breakdown of the figures to see exactly which age group wasn't watching so much on Saturday
He deserves to be out but i'm guessing he wont for the next few weeks at least because of the teenage girls voting more

They could've watched then voted on the sunday; that's what I do.

EDIT: Not for Lloyd, ofcourse :P

that doesn't explain
joe getting votes
and jedward getting votes

30stone

Joe gets votes because he can sing.

But i was about to say that about Jedward as surely they would get low votes to, maybe they did and were just slightly above.

What an excuse.

He was in the bottom 2 because he can't sing.

it might have something to do with that he's the second worst act in the comp, and his peformances are kareoke.
