My Braces are in!!

There kind of like silver round things with white wires... dont like them.
But suprisingly it doesnt hurt that much :) and i can speak properly, yeahh!!!

But sometimes it does scrape my cheek with it, and it hurts!!

What exactly can i eat, scared i will break the brace with food.

WTF is an interdental brush ( i just got 8 little brushes) they apparently are needed to brush under the brace.

Also was given a wax, what do i do with that?

Its fine though! did you get this wax stuff to put on it? It helps so much! I ran out of it all the time so the dentist ended up giving me three tubs every time :D

And im not sure PJ, a few months ago i was told it would be 15-20 months (so about a year and a far), hoping its only a year or somthing :D

yeah dont rub it in too hard though. put if on the sticky out bit, and put it on quite lightly but hard enough so it sticks on. You only have to do this for about 4/5 months. It seems forever but honestly it goes by so quickly. I even forgot about it!

So im alloweed to eat anything except toffee, chew gum... what else?

i still have gum. I wouldnt have toffee though. I had something like it and it got stuck and pulled a bit out. it hurt and I got told off by the dentist. :(

Wax is to put on the bits that rubbing against your gums lol. I swallowed loads of that + the brushes are well duh to brush :p

Give it a few days and your mouth will kill and everytime you get them tightened they hurt like hell.
