I'm A Celebrity 2009 Ratings Thread (Ratings drop after Katie entrance)

The ninth series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! begins on Sunday 15th November at 9.00pm on ITV1.

This thread can be used when the series begins, but for now, we can predict the launch ratings.

Last year's launch attracted 8.89million, slightly down on the 2007 series which opened with 8.98million.

However, this year's first episode will air directly after ratings juggernaut The X Factor's sixth results show. How will this affect it?

I reckon it'll easily top 10million.

This year's series is off to a fantastic start, with 9.8million (36%) tuning in for the launch show.

I really thought the X Factor lead in would tip it over the 10m mark, but it was still up around 900,000 viewers on last year. Close enough :)

Tonight will probably be the same.

As KP going in will make it go up about 2m but the fact it hasnt got a strong lead in like XF last night will lose 2m, so i think it will abalance itself out.

I reackon KP will either make it go really high or really low if it becomes the Katie Price show.

Prediction- 9.6m

Luckily the vote to save will give Katie fans to vote in masses, so I can see her lasting at least until final 7 or 6.

Think about it, if we vote for her for every trial, we are giving her what she wants... attention!! She knows that she will be brilliant at trials as she was before.

She will get VERY pissed off if we give her the silent treatment and dont vote for her and any trials (so she has nothing to pove and cant win people over).

Last nights episode of IAC drew in 8.5m (35%). Still a very very strong rating, but is 900,000 down from the entrance of Katie, and 1.3m down on the launch.
So maybe KP being in there, are turning people off, tonights could be lower as well.

Prediction for tonight is 8.3m.

Last night continued the downward spiral of the series.
8m tuned in during Katie's Bushtucker Trial, 500,000 less than the night before and 1.8m less than the launch episode.
