Ok so recently I have lost some weight and started running and walking,I always had quite muscular legs even when I was bigger but since the dieting/exercising they have become really noticable and I hate it!It was never my intention to build muscle,I simply enjoyed running and walking and wanted to loose weight so I chose to excercise in this way.Does anyone have any advice on how I can make it less noticeable, other than covering them up 24/7-which doesn`t actually help anyway as you can still tell even when Im wearing leggings and tight jeans.
I know this is a really random/wierd post but I know a few of you are into your fitness so maybe you could offer me some advice. Also,I`ve never gone to a gym before but I am thinking of joining, anyone had any bad or good gym experiences?

So, basically, youve bulit up muscles, and now you dont want them to be so visible right?
The best thing I can think of, is yoga. Doesnt give you big muscles, but keeps you fit, and strong.

Well I guess there is Pilates, or best thing is to google exactly what you want. Not too sure about fitness really. Like excersises that work certain areas and all that.
Just don't bother with your legs for a bit and let some fat build up? :joker:

But just remember you can't spot reduce muscle/fat.

Youre just one of the rare people who like to exercise.
Its no handicap these days. I am sure most female get envious. Muscles in a girl is nothing so rare anymore. :)

The thing is though I don`t do it that much, thats what I don`t understand.I`m still trying to loose more weight but I think If I loose more fat from my legs the muscle will just look more odd than at present- although I am not happy with the size of them at the minute, there just too big in general,I`m really not in proportion at all.It might seem a minor issue but I have worked hard so far I might as well try to keep on improving lol

Go to the gym, or ask your GP for advice and stuff? Ask advice at the Gym as well, i'm sure there are plenty of people in your situation.

Stick to a healthy diet but don't do basically any running.
Will keep you slim and muscle mass should drop a bit.
