Confirmed
New housemate joins Big Brother
Makosi said Kinga Karolczak "couldn't face the harshness of the house"
Kinga Karolczak, who narrowly failed to win a place in the Big Brother house a month ago, is being parachuted into the show to replace Orlaith McAllister.
Orlaith walked out on Saturday after being saved from eviction when Kemal Shahin was booted out on Friday.
Kinga, 20, was one of a trio of new hopefuls put into a secret room in the house in June.
Makosi Musambasi chose to take Orlaith and Eugene Sully with her into the main house - and leave Kinga behind.
At the time, Makosi said she thought Kinga "couldn't face the harshness of the house".
Hot favourite
But she will now get her chance to take part in the Channel 4 reality TV show and will be eligible to win or be evicted, like the other contestants.
Kinga will join the five remaining housemates - Makosi, Eugene, Anthony Hutton, Derek Laud and Craig Coates.
Orlaith left saying she "couldn't stand being in the house another week" with Derek.
Anthony is odds-on favourite to win the show, followed by Eugene and Makosi, with Kinga installed as 12/1 fourth favourite by bookmakers Ladbrokes.

Go Kinga go
I am so pleased Kinga is going in
I remember how gutted she was when Makosi chose Orlaith and Eugene.
Her stay in the house might only be a short one but i'm sure she'll bring more entertainment then Eugene and Orlaith combined

She has shorter odds than Derek & Craig. Nice.

Me to Sunny.... I was hoping it would be Hooly or someone new. Not a secondhand housemate.

Interesting the Ladbrokes site doesn't seem to have a Big Brother section,
mad-dog
31-07-2005, 07:49 PM
its better to have put kinga in...as it will give makosi a shock as she
did turn her down....
if they send a new housemate in, it could well be someone like
eugene & olaith...more of a player..staying quite...& really boring..
but things will hot up with kinga........
at least you know what you getting with her.....
& she must of been watching the show all the way...how makosi played
& backstabbed kemal...so will be a little carefull....

Just checked the other bookies and at the moment nobody is naming the new housemate..... it would suggest the odds quoted on the BBC site are for any other housemate and not Kinga as such. Journalist license strikes again!
How would the bbc know anyway? they could be just going on hearsay.
It does seem pretty certain to be her though much to my annoyance

dont be so sure yet, it could all be a trick. Putting her in seems to0 predictable!!

We won't know for sure until the show starts and she enters the house.

Channel 4 keep going on about someone new..... if it is Kinga they should be done under the trades description act.

Godd i hope she is put in she will realy stir things up fantastic

Big Brother are liars...... she is not new at all.
And she has a secret mission to avoid one nomination by one housemate she will be immune from nomination.
I'm suprised she CAN win, i think thats a bit unfair personally.
Just my opinion.

Yep she has just gone in.
Must say she does seem very down to earth and I think she will make some interesting viewing for the next two weeks.
I like the mission she has aswell, good luck to her,I would like to see her in the final 4.
Not the sharpest knife in the draw is she? I am still unsure if she knows what she has to do.

Kinga was liked by the public nobody could see why she wasnt picked in the first place apart from Makosi felt threatened by her....wouldnt put her in this enviroment...what a load of bull.
Red Moon
01-08-2005, 12:19 AM
Makosi didn't pick her because she saw her as a threat in the house. She didn't want someone in the house she felt she couldn't trust or compete with and win.
GlitterEyes
01-08-2005, 12:35 AM
Yeah plus it shows now Kinga is the loudest female and makosi seems overshadowed by her at the moment.
Red Moon
01-08-2005, 12:37 AM
I don't think being over shadowed by Kinga will do Makosi much harm in the public vote. It's when people are being loud in the house they get voted out.
Look what happened to Maxwell, Saskia, Science and Kemal.
