AMY Winehouse said no, no, no when Rachel Adedeji got the boot from X Factor last Sunday.

The Rehab singer's dad Mitch told online channel Liv how she thought it was a "disaster" to get rid of Dannii Minogue's act in favour of Lloyd Daniels.

He said: "Amy and I and the family were watching X Factor and when Rachel got knocked out - we thought it was a complete disaster.

"We were having a lovely dinner - I was having a chicken vindaloo and Amy was having a chicken korma and we almost choked - almost put us right off our food."

See, yet another famous singer who can see the talent Rachel possesses.

She does.

When you can sing like her it doesn't really matter does it, although could you imagine her trying to win the X Factor? lol.

Who Amy or Rachel cant really see it.
Either way, Another Artist see's potential, yet vast majority of the public know they wouldnt buy her records i guess.

Never connected with her any week she was there, though she put on 2 good performances vocally and i could still hear flaws, shes good but is becoming overated and boring now.

Lol, you'll never accept that she's talented and in a different league to the other two girls. The public in general are easily manipulated into liking certain individuals on the show.... that's how it works.

Why on God's earth would that alcoholic drug addict train crash of a pop singer's opinion matter one iota?

oh

it does not

"In a different league" - No i never would because shes not.

Stacy has been pushed on us more than rachel.

But Lucie has got virtually no coverage, none in comparison to rachel at all, Rachel has been pushed on us quite a bit more than lucie and less than stacy.

Yet she is still voted in.
For me lucie is the best singer on form.

I suppose winning 5 Grammy's among numerous other awards validates her opinion somewhat.

Lucie has been given loadsa coverage, from auditions straight up to now. It's quite obvious that they favoured her heavily prior to the beginning of the live shows, but her dullness may be her undoing. Oh, and she's not in the same league as Rachel - nothing to her voice. Technically good but boring.

Well, usually I'd agree but the Grammy's are a big deal, as well as the Ivor Novello awards she's won. You just have a problem with her, that's all - or maybe just with Rachel.

winehouse is a disgrace. she had a couple of good songs but then so do tons of folks. She is a junkie and an abomination.

Rachel is history.

She might be a disgrace in your eyes but she's an artist... singer and songwriter of huge talent.

And no, I don't think it's the last we'll hear of Rachel.

Another talented singer that sees the talent that Rachel has then.

I hate to say it though, if the public didn't vote to keep her in the competition then she obviously has a problem with appealing to the masses (not me because I thought she was great!) but I doubt if she would have much success. An artist needs the whole package to be successful and if people just don't like her then it doesn't matter how great her voice is unfortunately.

Well judging from the wit involved in your last post I'd say you're well used to wandering around aimlessy in the dark. I turned the light off so hopefully you'll bang your head and it'll knock some sense into you.

As opposed to ''She is one of the most recognizable faces of the 21st century, spent a year on both the charts and the tabloids, but I don't like her, therefore her opinion should not matter''.

Flawless logic.

I dont think anyone likes her. they may like some of her songs but the way she has consistently pissed her success, marriage and life up the wall for all to see is a unmitigated disaster and shame.

People recognise many people if they make the news good and bad. Can you give me the release date of her last single? or the date when she put in a good concert performance?

And what on earth has any of that got to do with her voicing an opinion on the bloody X-Factor?

Can you give me the release date of her last single? or the date when she put in a good concert performance?
Come again? What has that got to do with anything?

Actually, considering the circumstances, ''What has that got to do with anything?'' is my new stock response to all your posts.

So the answer to ''what on earth has me not knowing when her single is out got to do with anything?'' is that my logic is bad?

Irony and lolz in spades, you have, son. Could you please not bother getting into discussions with me unless you are prepared to actually answer questions?

You originally said her opinion did not matter. I pointed out to you the wrongness of this and how illogical is was that despite all her success her opinion does not matter. Your response to this was that MY logic was bad. Then your asking me for the release date of her single. And what good concerts she has performed.

You are, in essence, what we typically refer to as a 'nutter'.

It didn't help that she's come along after Leona and Alexandra. My theory is that the public want someone white winning this year. Kandy Rain, Miss Frank and Rachel all gone..... I'd say it'll be Jamie or Danyl next.

06-11-2009, 02:36 PM
Didn't like Rachel at the start, thought the week before last she ruined a good performance by trying to do a 'stacey'............BUT.......last week she never deserved to go, never deserved to be in the last two. Two very very good performances, but the public (and Cowell) preferred voices as flat as pancakes.
There you go.......and so did Rachel.

i miss rachel already, she was by far the best girl singer and no matter what anyone said she had the best personality too, even though she didnt show it much. It's just unfortunate that she wasnt one of the "chosen ones" and was hardly showed at all
