Is there anyone who has listened to a lot of his radio shows who dislikes him. he gets such a bad press, it seems, from just those who never listen to him. I say this because the criticism levelled at him is 99/100 wrong to anyone who listens to his shows. If you follow me?

I get the sense his not that bad a guy but I were stuck in a lift with him I would slap the emergency button.

He gets a lot of slack on panel shows from supposed comedy gods who seem to have to constantly insult either the likes of Moyle's or Russell Brand in order to gain laughs.

In fairness, he is a radio host with a comedic slant. Put downs factor into his shows and a lack of coherent sociopolitical debate would not factor into much of his shtick, I would imagine.
