Seriously, what is the point of HD telly? Since when was the quality poor.. like you can see everything on a normal TV :/
I just don't get it at all, and it's just contantly being talking about arghh! It's just really annoying.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same?

I think it's just you. Technology evolves. That said, I could not care less about HD. I never made the switch so I don't know and thus don't care about what I am missing anyway.

BluRay 1080p
is out of this World.
That is a Revolution in Vision and Sound.
Even the Original Star Treks are on BluRay
that is bliss.

ITVHD on Freesat HD
has shown loads of movies in HD
that is great.
This week every night a 9PM ITV1 and ITV1 HD
shows a new drama 'Collision'
that is the way to go.


BBCHD - not good
it should be on 24/7 for a start
not just night viewing.
And they do not show many films in HD.


It is that much better HD
next year Freeview goes Freeview HD.

Exactly Laura, there seems to be no difference! My dad just tried to explain what it's all about and he went on and said it works better on widescreen.. but I have a widescreen and the quality is fine, meh I give up.

I didn't care about it at first but then CBS started broadcasting Survivor in HD and I automatically saw the difference: it felt more real, like we were in the jungle too.
I also download my torrents in HD, the quality is much better.

is Free you just pay for the box once
and fitting if you do not have a Sky Dish.
If you do have a SkyDish get a Double LNB fitting on it
and connect via a Screw on a fitted cable from the back of the FresatHD box.

Right, but it still exists to make money, just like everything else. It's a business. They market the products. It does not mean HD is bullshit, or a bad thing, but it is there to make money.
