View Full Version : Why did Kinga really enter the house?
I know the official reason that Kinga was put into the house was because Orlaith had left, and housemates who walk out (or get chucked out like Nick in BB1) are always replaced, but nobody has ever left this close to the final before, and I was really surprised that they decided to replace Orlaith. Do you think it was really a bid to liven things up a bit? Because a lot of the people (me included) have said that it's been dull since Science left, and when Kemal went too, it was another big character who had gone.

Probably for several reasons. To liven things up, as you say. Then there's CH4's advertising revenue - if big ad deals have been struck to be screened during final week evictions, some of that revenue would be lost if one of the evictions never in fact took place. So they need to keep the same number of hm's because of that, too.

In answer to your question I would say yes. There's no doubt the place has come alive again since her arrival and makes up for the loss of Science and Kemal. And whereas usually at this stage of the show the atmosphere is subdued and a little boring, now it's going to be an interesting and, I think, an exciting finale! It was so quiet following Orlaith's exit on Saturday you could hear a pin drop and I actually felt Makosi might walk herself.
I know a few people are unhappy with Kinga being brought into the show at this late stage and being eligible to win, which I think is understandable, but personally I think ts all good.

The show was getting boring and at night especially there was no one to watch apart from craig and anthony and they have been keeping things going a long time. Now Kinga has made the night and daytime more lively and it certainly needed livening up.
Yeah Kinga has certainly added a positive influence to the house, the live coverage has been alot better at night now than in the last few weeks.

Plus she adds that feeling of "anything can happen next" as she is a very act now think later person. I am disapointed though she doesnt seem to be seeeking revenge on Makosi as she didnt add her to the house. If she was added to get revenge would of been better.

For me aswell Kinga enterted to stop Makosi moaning every 5 minutes about having no one to talk to etc. She was turning on the waterworks when kemal and orlaith left now she has a new friend to play with.
I don't understand why Makosi was upset when Kemal and Orlaith went. She didn't seem to like either of them anyway. I think if things had gone differently with the previous two votes, and Science and Kemal were still in the house, they may not have bothered replacing Orlaith. But I'm glad they did - Kinga has certainly livened the place up!

I'm glad that Kinga isn't in the house to stir up arguments. There have been too many of those lately. I wouldn't like to see her get revenge on bitchy Makosi for not choosing her, because that would make her just as bad.
She seems to be a rather nice person. She is a bit too loud at times, but at least she is just being herself. I think it's a good thing for the house dynamics, because once again, we see a divide. Eugene and Derek are firmly in one corner, and Makosi had joined up with Ant & Craig.
The problem with that is of course that "3 is a crowd". So, now that Kinga has entered, there are 4 in that group. She seems to have taken a liking to Craig, which hopefully will be good for Anthony. I would like to see Craig step back a bit from Anthony, because I am interested to see if Ant has genuine feelings for Makosi. At the moment, he can't get near her, without Craig being at his tail. Hopefully Kinga will distract the love-struck Craig long enough for Makosi and Anthony to sneak away to the love-loft.
Talking of which... Is the love loft still open? I havent seen anyone up there in a while.
I'm wondering the same thing - I havent seen anyone in the love loft for over a week now..

If you look at xlozx92x's thread named "is it true?" she seems to have an explaination that was on BBLB

I think that Kinga has come into the house for several reasons many that have already been mentioned - however I think that main reason was to get on my nerves :dog:

Kinga was put into to the house to do exactly what she did tonight. Show off her body and inject some sex and controversy in the show before the final. And it looks like it going to work! Can you imagine the headlines in the Sun in the morning!
